Today Is Sunday, February 22, 2026: This Is What Happened.

It sure was a learning curb. I took each stanza from the poem I wrote and see what chat. I just let Night Cafe do it thing. Editor note...I had change a word from Chat Gpt to Night Cafe.  One thing I did had no pre-style. Not sure which pre-style I would of selected. But I think it will kept to same genre. But who knows.

Is the word good as an ice cream bar

Melts in one mouth.

Is the word bad as lima beans

So dry one can't speak.

Image

Sometime the words are willful

They cause no trouble.

Then there those time word can be hiding

Don't mean any harm.

Image

Just want to put puzzle together.

So the entire picture shows.

Image

Then there been time words runs about like headless person.

Looking blindly for expression.

Image

Just want to dance in flowing beat

Not to scared about in fear.

I was asked if our snow had come in late. Last few years I our snow starts in February. But before that our main snow start about mid December. And usually we would have white Christmas and sometime after mid January it would start to melt. I wouldn't say we never had snow before mid December or after mid January. Our weather pattern sure has sifted,

I'm sure the rest of the world heard about our President have a Tantrum. On how the supreme court ruled on tariffs. I'm still on the fence about listening to state of union address. He aggravates every part of my being. But on the other side of coin. I want to see other branches their reaction.

I'm connecting to SUNDAY IN THE ART ROOM

Today Is Wednesday, February 18, 2026: This Is What Happened.

I start to watch you tube on our Presidents. I got the first four done. And got 43 to go. Some of them served 2 terms. Well as I was watching they mention the War of 1812 and Battle of New Orleans and the song BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS. When I was younger and went into bars. It seem two songs that played on Canadian jukebox back then was the Battle of New Orleans. And JOSE CHOAVER.

So over on Night Cafe. I took part of the lyrics from both of these songs, and this is what Night Cafe came up with.

It been snowing most of the day. Sure it stop for a while. Went out and measure it around noon, and we got 3½ inches. Yesterday measurement was 5 inches. I need to fly out of Spokane on the 28th.

Our senior center is trying to raise FUNDS to do an up grade.

January, Noticed: A Month in Small Measures

This January I experimented with tracking—not everything, just enough to see patterns. The goal wasn’t improvement. It was attention.

Weather came first.
I took temperatures four times a day, most days. Mornings were the coldest, dipping as low as the mid-teens, while afternoons occasionally surprised me by brushing forty degrees. Evenings cooled quickly again. What stood out wasn’t the extremes, but the rhythm: winter has a pulse, and it repeats whether I’m watching or not.

Health was uneven, but honest.
I logged exercise on some days, water on fewer, digestion support on more. Pain showed up too—my hip more than my shoulder—and that mattered. The data didn’t shame me; it explained me. It reminded me that health is shaped as much by limits as by intentions.

Hobbies carried more weight than I expected.
I read often, wrote regularly, and picked up my camera enough times to know creativity wasn’t absent—it was active. Some hobbies rested entirely this month. That didn’t feel like failure. It felt seasonal.

Money told a clear story.
Most of my income went to essentials: food, utilities, healthcare. Very little went to extras. Seeing it laid out didn’t spark anxiety—it brought clarity. My spending reflects necessity, not neglect.

And finally, self-credit.
Out of thirty-one days, I only formally marked things down ten times. Still, I showed up every day. Tracking isn’t proof of effort; living is.

January didn’t ask me to optimize. It asked me to notice.
So I did.

Chat gpt help me write this.

Today Is Friday, January 16, 2026: This Is What Happened.

Usually are food trucks only comes up in the spring and summer months. But for some reason they came up yesterday. So I drove to local fairgrounds were the food truck was. One gets in line, stay in your rig.

I know people who arrives around 7AM or so. Not quite light. The truck don't start give out the food until 11 AM. I got in line about 10:15 and I was heading back home 12:00. So those was who got in line at 7 AM sat in there car for 4 hours. I was only in line for 1.75 hours. They're set up tp move you quite quickly. This time they gave everyone a gift card from Safeway, a $50 value. Not sure what we're going to get. I know one thing we will be getting is paper towels. I'm quite curious person and want to know the value of today give away. I thought A.I might have the answer.

Food banks here base there food on weight, SECOND HARVEST food cost around $1.70 a pound. And my guess I got around 25 pounds of food. Not going to list everything. But a few things. 3 case of yogurt 18 in each case, 2 pounds of ground beef, and bag of pears. I would guess the pears weight in at 3 pounds. This will help. We should be able to send some extra money on our medical bill, in February.

I need to put in the total value of the food box, $42.50. I only have one complaint. It doesn't mater the size of the household. Everyone gets the same amount. Personally my husband and I don't need 54 container of yogurt. Opinion time...They should ask if we need a large or small box. If I recall right they bring up enough for 250 households.

Last few days I been going though some papers, magazine, cards, and suck. I been cutting them out. For collages work. It a lease clearing up the clutter. I'm doing envelope up for the Granddaughters. And I'm making one up for senior center fund raiser. For the Auction.

I'm part of Good Reads. My goal is to read 18 books this year. I see people who has a completed books there going to read for the up coming year. I don't, I can tell you 5 of the books. I want to read this year, and they're...QUEEN VICTORIA TEENAGER VOL ONE, and VOLUME 2. Then the other 3 books I do plan to read this year is THE BUSINESS OF FANCY DANCING, AN ARTIST OF THE FLOATING WORLD, and DIARY AS LITERATURE.. At this time I'm clueless what other books I will be reading this up coming year.

I'm going to try to write a story using these words...GAROTTE, KISSESS, NECK, PHILANTHROPIST, PRAHMATISM, BALCONIES, DECADENES, EMTERTAINMENT, GENIES, PUBLIC. River is the host by DRIFTING THOUGH LIFE.

.

I thought I had pretty good ideal of a story. But the words and my story just wouldn't match up. So frustrating.

Most of the time, it been overcast. For the first part of January. This morning as sun as coming up. It lighted up the sun.

I decided to hook on with SKY WATCH FRIDAY

Today Is Tuesday, January 6, 2026: This Is What Happened.

Snowing here. It seem like our winters are starting much later, then they did in past. Well before we would usually have what people would call January melt. But a few years ago we had snow dump in February.

Start to take down the Christmas Tree. I will finish it off tomorrow. I'm clueless why, but I find it sad when I start to take down the Christmas tree. Murphy and I had lunch as the senior center. They served chicken pot pie.

Tomorrow, there having some type of pork meat balls. And water color class. I doubt I will go tomorrow because it look like the roads are going to be slick. Let me say, I had plan to go to Under the Sun and having coffee with my friend Quenella. Then before I was going to the Senior Center I had plan to get to over and have some laminating done. I mange to pay some bills. Still waiting for our Natural gas bill.

Murphy just got done talking to his sister Faith, who just turn 74.

Today Is Wednesday, December 31, 2025: This is What Happened

I decided to start this post in the morning. Plus some place in the world it already 2026. As for the political arena I hope it's better always around. We here in the United States has our mid-term. Maybe Maga will loose the majority. As many of us know. If Trump don't get his way. He will toss a tizzy.

Image

The last thing I did was putting on was my shoes. I thought it would and interesting shot, for WORDLESS WEDNESDAY. After the shoes, got on my feet. I went down and ride the stationary bike. On so called odd days, like today. It seems like reasonable goal. Is to ride that 3 times a day. But for some reason I only do it once day.

Yesterday it was my brother in law, Earl Birthday. He just turn 65. And he has congestive heart failure. I don't want to be to hard on him. But he lived a hard life. Smoking and drinking. Now it caught up with him. I'm far from a saint, and not big time sinner. Simple we're all human.

I been doing some research on paper to use with alcohol makers. I have good amount of them. Even I use heavier paper to do my art on. But I have issue of soaking though when I use alcohol markers. Found out there paper just made for alcohol markers.

I was wondering if art with Greta. If we were going to new years goals and such in our art journal. Plus a word of the year. She said yes. But she doesn't give out details on what we're doing. For me that's fine. I do better. With less thinking on it.

One of my art journal is getting close to be filled. This is what I will be getting, ART JOURNAL Usually I split them with my friend Lolita. But she wants a heavier paper. The company I get my art journal though, does offer a heavier PAPER. I'm just not a fan of spiral note books.

Let just wrap up with my morning temps. I'm lazy and I'm going to have chat-gpt give me the numbers.

December Morning Temperatures (7–8 a.m.)

  • Highest: 43.2°F (6.2°C)

  • Lowest: 16.3°F (-8.7°C)

  • Average: 32.3°F (0.2°C)

It been raining all day, and for mid December is far from cold, for us here in North Idaho. The mail wasn't came and I'm not sure if I will go out to the mail box today or not. I hope we get no mail today. I'm made out of brown sugar.

Well I finish up a book I been reading. “The Trumpet of the Swan” by E.B White. It's the same person who wrote Charlotte's Web. Animal brought to life. I'm passing it on to my old granddaughter who is 9. Murphy and I are going to the senior center for lunch tomorrow. There serving Chicken chimi's, corn salad, Mexican coleslaw, Spanish rice, and pineapple fluff. But before we go to lunch. I want to get the book “The Bell Jar” by “Sylvia Plath”

Got the Christmas Tree up. Not complete done. Murphy and I strung the lights around it. The blue bird lights is pain to put on. These lights need to be pin up. If there not pin up, the bird fall over. Tomorrow, I will add the ornaments and iceicles.

Last night for dinner we had stuff peppers, with ground Turkey.

So I will be back on this up coming Wednesday. To share my other Christmas card and letter. My next round of blogging will start again on Saturday, the 20th. I will share my Christmas tree than.

Today Is Saturday, December 6, 2025: This Is What Happened.

This post is a little different than usual — I let ChatGPT help shape it. Like anything in life, there’s a place for artificial intelligence, and the key word is balance.

Lately I’ve been fascinated by tracking small everyday numbers. I’ve been using my bullet journal to follow a few basics, and here’s what last month looked like.

📌 Giving & Utilities

  • Household income: $1,572

  • Charitable giving: $48 (3% of income)

  • Utilities: $241 (15% of income)

🍎 Food Support

We received about $215 worth of food from the senior center — which adds the equivalent of 14% more to our monthly resources. It made a noticeable difference.

🌤️ Weather Notes

Just quick numbers: the warmest afternoon I logged was 47°F, the coolest outlier dropped to 24°F, and most days sat right around 43°F.

I’m finding the numbers grounding. They don’t tell the whole story, but they offer a quiet snapshot of daily life — where things go, what comes in, and what helps along the way.

Balance still matters, whether it’s budgeting, gratitude, or even letting a bit of AI lend a hand.

Once again I was going to give words a go again. This week words is birds, window, wings, span, open and the other set words are time, world, laugh, all, and get.

use either list or both, or mix and match, just have fun.

It been a long winter the three kids been bickering all week, or it just seem to get louder and louder. Pam just want to open the window and toss all of her children out the window into the snow. Yule was well over and the sun was still heading North as one looked outside. Next celebration was Imbolc.

The bickering just kept on and on. She gave them a choice. Go out side or start washing the place down with Spic and Span. So the children decided it would be wise to head out into the world. A lease they was less of chance running into someone with bad sense of humor.

As they went into a the woods close to Laugh Creek, It been said the rocks in creek was either laughing or crying. Some time the rocks laugh at things that shouldn't be laugh at. Other time the rocks will be crying over nothing.

They spend all afternoon down by Laugh Creek, and they notice the sun heading toward the west, close to the mountain, and in hour the sun would fall behind the mountain. They recall last time they came home well after the sun went behind the mountain and came in. Lot of trouble they all got in to.

As they were heading toward the cabin, they saw a yellow sparrow, perch on small bush. They knew the next full moon the pea seeds would be going into the community garden. The sparrow bird was sigh that spring and warmer weather soon to start.

The children arrive at home, as the sun slip down behind the mountain. They told their mother they saw an yellow sparrow.

So they decided since the sparrow has arrived. They would hang an woodpecker wing from the fireplace mantel. Which will bring new positive energy into the home.

It snowed lightly on Thanksgiving day.

Today Is Wednesday, November 5, 2025: This Is What Happened

Let see how my day went. Let start off with the election the United States had. The city of Bonners Ferry vote for council members. I live out side the city limited. So I didn't vote. I have no really complaint those who get in. The only thing I wish they were younger people holding the office.

A few grumbled at the senior citizen about having democrat socialist elected as the New York City mayor. I doubt any of them knows the difference between Communist, Fascist, Nazi, and or Socialist. I don't know if I can give a good explanation or not. I think a people forget the words Democrat and Nationalism.

I think Carl Yung summarized Communism and Nazi pretty good. “Two Evil Twins”

Paid all the utilities this morning. And the credit card. Late morning I went into town and first stop was the print shop. And I had a poster board that was 22 by 28 inches. I'm still working on my writing prompts. I will do one more sheet of writing prompts. Question time...Can I please have a writing prompt and or journal prompt.

I also ask them the cost of having some stickers made up. I was thinking of using some of my artist trading cards done up as sticker, and giving them as Christmas gift for my Granddaughter.

Then I walk over to the place I pay the water bill, and drop it in the box. Then over to post office and mailed the rest of the bills off. And drove up to senior center and had lunch. It was watercolor class. Some of us did chickens, and some did mouse. I did the chickens.

I'm always trying to be the best I can. I doubt I will be a top notch person. But nothing wrong with trying. So a few things I like to share how I did in October.

October Weather & Habit Tracking Summary

Morning Temperatures (11 AM – 12 PM):
I recorded the late-morning temperature 13 times this month, which means I kept track on about 41.9% of October’s days.
The average temperature for those readings was 35.1°F, showing that most mornings were on the chilly side.

Evening Temperatures (7 PM – 8 PM):
For the evening period, I managed to record 14 times, or 45.2% of the month.
The average temperature came out to 47.4°F, noticeably warmer than the morning readings — a nice reflection of how the days cooled off slowly as October went on.

Overall Average Temperature (AM + PM):
Combining both morning and evening readings, the overall average temperature for October was 41.5°F.
Even though I didn’t record every day, these numbers give a good picture of how temperatures shifted from cool mornings to mild evenings.

Breakfast After 8 AM:
I ate breakfast after 8 AM on 23 out of 31 days, or about 74.2% of the month.
Apparently, I’m more of a late-breakfast person!

Water Intake:
My goal was to drink over 32 oz of water daily, and I recorded reaching that goal 6 times this month.
That works out to an average of about 6.2 oz per day based on what was tracked — but I know I usually drink more than what gets written down. Sometimes the logging slips, even though the water bottle doesn’t stay full for long!
It’s a gentle reminder that recording habits can be as important as building them.

Monday, October 27, 2025 — This Is What Happened

It’s raining today. We usually get rain in the spring and fall, and around Halloween, we often see a light skiff of snow here in the valley. Many of the trees have already lost over 75% of their leaves.

My granddaughters didn’t make it up on Sunday. Maud woke up with an earache, and her sister Bree was too scared to travel. With little sleep, Sawyer decided not to drive up. His flight back to Medford, Oregon, left around 7 that evening.

I might as well mention the upcoming SNAP cutoff in November. I’ve been watching some YouTube videos on the topic — you can easily search for “SNAP benefits” yourself. I’m not sure how the algorithm works, but I’ve noticed that most of the videos show Black people losing their EBT benefits (the card where SNAP funds are placed).

Here’s what I found about SNAP usage by race and ethnicity:

  • White (Non-Hispanic): 35.4%

  • Black/African American (Non-Hispanic): 25.7%

  • Hispanic: 15.6%

  • Asian (Non-Hispanic): 3.9%

  • Native American/Alaska Native (Non-Hispanic): 1.3%

  • Multi-race reported: 1.0%

  • Race unknown: 17.0%

As you can see, white people also make significant use of the SNAP program.

Now, by age group:

  • Under 5 years: 39%

  • Ages 5 to 17: 28%

  • Adults 18 to 59: 42%

  • Older adults 60+: 19%

One last note about SNAP — among the “working poor” who were eligible in 2017, about 73% participated in the program.

What really strikes me is that most of the YouTube videos I’ve seen show Black people supposedly stealing food from Walmart. Hopefully, things don’t get that bad. If someone is truly hungry, anyone — regardless of race — might steal to survive. It does seem like YouTube’s coverage may be a bit biased in how it shows these incidents.

As for my own day, things went fairly smoothly. I vacuumed my car — it cost me a dollar in quarters, but I ended up finding 75¢ worth of change, so it really only cost me a quarter. I also got my laptop issues sorted out — I’m very thankful for the library and their tech help. I copied something from my thumb drive to use in my art journal.

I stopped at the dollar store and spent under $2.00 on a powder puff for a journal page and a piece of tag board. Now, of course, I can’t find the tower I made for my art!

Today Is Sunday, October 19, 2025: This Is What Happened

Wet and raining most of the day. Had slight break from the rain in the afternoon. At that time hubby and I took down the hummingbird feeder. They will be back in late spring of 2026.

Made up my list of things I will try to accomplish this up coming week. I complete one. I text Cutler and told him that we want to buy a cord of firewood. Our main heat is natural gas. It for back up source for heat. Worked cleaning my dresser up. Went though the drawers, and going to take a few piece of clothing to the Animal thrift store. Then my summer shorts went up in the closet shelf. Worked a little on top of my dresser. And last thing I did some pages in my bullet journal.

No king march in my community. Glad there quite a few people marching.

Got the four paper-mache heads done. If all works out my granddaughters will be coming up next week to paint them. I'm doing an extra one, just in case. I have a couple new ideals to put in my art journal, a long with entire list, as well.

Today Is Saturday, October 11, 2025: This Is What Happened

Getting the hang of my new lap top. I'm not a big fan of the power button. But nothing I can change about it. If I could I believe I could end up making worst. My next thing is to take care of my photos from camera.

Quite while back, I was using WIKI ART. I know I was working on sharing different ART MOVEMENT. Looking at list I know I was going though the modern art movement. But which one. I was still on first list. I'm thinking of starting in middle.

I started to watch some reality television. One of the shows I been watching is PROJECT RUNWAY. I think there 10 challenge for a season. One of them is to do a commercial appeal. Something that one could go into a store and buy. The average shopper. What got to me, it need to retail under $400. I have never spend $400 on piece of clothing. Never even spend a $100 on any piece of clothing.

Slept on the rough side. I woke up about 3:30 this morning. I should of just got up, for a while. Now I'm pretty much like a zombie. At that time of morning I came up or my brain came up with an creative project. At this time I want to get my paper cache done, so my granddaughters can do them up. And the other two things I been working on this past week is; crochet rag rug, which will go in our bathroom. And some artist trading cards.

It been raining off and on, all day. Leaves are blowing off the trees.

Today Is Monday, October 6, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Not even 11 in the morning. Usually I don't post this early. Got up at 7 this morning. Our first frost after the summer months. Had lovely view of the full moon last night.

Last evening the 5th of October. I went to our local pagan potluck, at the Pearl. Our Pearl is our underground community. It place were the liberal, lgbtq, pagan, and those who aren't part of the Maga movement. We had small gathering, 10 of us. We decided to have monthly potluck on the full moon.

Went for short walk this morning. Did a few small task. Still more to do.

Look like we will be going to the senior center three times this week. We usually go on Tuesday and Friday.  The reason we're going there on Wednesday their serving Lamb. Well let get back to Tuesday. I need to get 2 medication. Clinic I go to, also has an pharmacy, and it income base. So hubby and I meds are mostly under $5 for 90 days. Only 2 of them is over that amount.  Let get back to Tuesday. I will go and get my meds, stop in at the library to make appointment for my computer. The issue is contrast. And play scrabble. Last thing I hope to finish up is Murphy hospital bill, it's pretty much paid off. But it looks like we won't be paying it off. The bills this month sucked our checking account down. We have nasty habit of eating and such.

Today Is Saturday, September 6, 2025: This Is What Happen.

Don't recall last time I shared any sort of stats, so I thought of sharing 9 stats from last month.

  1. I try to get the weather four times a day. I thought I would share the temps between 3 and 4 in the afternoon, that's usually hottest part of our day. We had two days at 90.0 (32.2) which was on the 12th and the 27th. The average temperature for the month of August 2024 is 84.7 (29.3)

  2. I try to drink fiber (Meta Mucil) 27 out of the 31 days in August. And I mange to get it in 63% of the time.

  3. My water intake I only made 22% of the time. My goal is to take 20 ounce or more of water. Out the 27 in the month of August.

  4. My non sweet day I manged it 57% of the time. I let my self have something like a cookies, every 3 days during the months. I feel much better limited my self sugars.

  5. Not counting my blog. I wrote 17.6% of the time.

  6. I took a picture 9% of the time.

  7. Most of my visitors to my blog was from the United States

  8. I only post 5 times in the month of August

  9. Posted 21 picture in month of August.

Not sure what my blogging will be the first part of September. Monday I go in for a mammaplasty. I'm sure there was days I forgot to cross off things on my tracker in my bullet journal.

I wasn't plan to post today. The main reason I did a picture with CHAT GPT and CANVA. I asked each of them to do me an oracle cards with these instruction “ I like to do an orcale card, from the theme of "Silent testimony" Old photo speaks with out words. I like two people in monochrome style of orange with gags in there mouth.” for some reason Chat Gpt wouldn't do a picture with a gag in person mouth. So I assumed that that Canva would not do a gag. The first photo is from Chat Gpt and photo on the bottom of the pages is from Canva.

Not sure when I will do my personal Oracle deck. I have other project to take care of first. Giving direction to chat or canva is sure a different experience.

Got my goals done today, which was to finish up my September bullet journal and wrap Wendy birthday gift. My son Bart is coming up for the weekend. With his girl. His wife went over to Washington coast for a Bridle shower. Stop at the library to get the inter-library load book, THE DIARY KEEPER. The main reason I like to read blogs is. Because it written by ordinary people. At times I wonder in the future who will be reading our blogs. Just few lines up I mention wrapping a gift for my granddaughter Wendy Birthday.

I wrote quite a bit yesterday. We had quite the electrical storm with came though this afternoon. I'm hooking up with FACEOFF

Today Is Tuesday, August 8, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Thought I would get something posted. Before the heat arrives. Another hot day. This morning I ask Chat Gpt a simple question....What is the difference between a journal and writing prompt?

A journal and a writing prompt aren’t the same thing, though they can work together.

Here’s the difference:

JournalWriting Prompt
A place or practice for recording your thoughts, feelings, events, reflections, or creative writing over time.A specific idea, question, or scenario given to spark or guide what you write about.
Ongoing and often personal — you decide what goes in it.Temporary and focused — it’s like a creative nudge.
Can include freewriting, sketches, plans, lists, or even random musings.Usually short and designed to get you started when you’re unsure what to write.
Example: You open your notebook every evening and write about your day.Example: “Write about a time you felt completely lost — physically or emotionally.”

In short:
A journal is the container (physical or digital) and the habit; a writing prompt is fuel for that container when you need inspiration.

Now we know.

Had a grand time with granddaughters. But I need a day to recover. I did mange to get a little bit off exercise. Kind of move those joints around a bit.

Clouds are mighty in our sky. Look like a storm might be heading this way. If it lightening, sure hope there is plenty of rain. It quite dry here. No need for any fire. Doesn't matter the type. Look like the rest o the week it might get a little cooler. In the 70's. Most of this week it been in the 90's.

My last post. I wrote about what going on with our MEDICAID, under Trump regime. One think I like to clear up is, that I'm not on Medicaid. I'm on regular MEDICARE. At this time I won't discuss this program. It was just to hot to make much for dinner. So fried up beef patty, pork and beans, with some cottage cheese.

Today Is Friday, July 25. 2025: This Is What Happened.

A lot going on today posting. First I'm going to play WEDNESDAY WORDS ON FRIDAY. I wish I knew other people who played this. Although I don't play every time. Today words are INCLUDE-LICK-BERRY-APPLES-RESPECT-ELBOW-FORK-MEASURE-KNIFE AND DREAM.

The sign by the fork in the road been there from the days of Queen Beatrice and Queen Mary region which was more then 1,000 years ago. The sign was still visible. My guess that someone from one of the village came and re-did the sign. Or possible even put up a new one.

Behind the sign was due North, and they was plenty of forest land, it been said that they were a fairy kingdom. They had three apple trees growing, and 2 of them had magical powers. Although the village people was leery of trying them. They thought the devil had hand in it. The other apples was fine. Which one.

On the west bank of Keyport river both village came and celebrate Lughnasadh. Before they could past the gate to entry in special area, to take part in the ritual. They had rub a cream that was made of toad fat, tooth of a gopher, and whisker of bob cat. They had measure the cream very careful, and no more then half of almond shell. To be rub on the left elbow.

As the villagers camp on west bank of the river. They would wonder up in the hills. And pick the berries and bring them back, and put them in barrel and had the youngsters stump on the berries and made juice. No one actual knew they had psychedelic powers. But the grown up would drink the juice during the celebration of the ole god of Isime. The bond must had strange powers over the people mainly the older ones. They would set around the fire and go into a dream like trans and someone would start talking. Then someone else start talking, some made sense and other didn't.

Not sure how this start once the planet of Mercury was in plain sight everyone had to put there knife on the flat stone right next to the elm tree. All showed great respect.

As the parents was tripping out on the juice, as the children thought it just was plain nasty. They could lick there fudge-sickle, and watch there folks make a fool of them self. They didn't want to be include in such ole nonsense.

I had plan to get this up earlier. And possible even take part in a few other things. Such as sky-watch and nature. The summer heat can make one sleepy. It does me. A lease I can keep up. Not loosing what I got done. Ate lunch at the senior center. We had meatball sandwich.

The sun was behind the smoke as it went down last night. We had a wild fire about five miles from my  place. We couldn't really see much, no flames or heavy smoke. Look like it burn about 20 acres, which now is 25% contained. No homes was lost. But some out-building where lost. Not sure the cause of the fire.

Niece Edith and her husband Hans. Hans mother Qamra and her daughter Eirween had to be advocated. I don't know when the last time Qamra left her place. There quite a story behind these two. Actual it sad. Qamra mother died in state mental hospital. Looks like Qamra is following some of the same pattern. The local paper did an article on the FIRE. And posted on line. Our print paper comes out on Thursday. They might know the cause. (Niece Edith Photo)

Usually at night we open the windows, to let the cool air come though the house. With the smoke we didn't open the place. So the house never had chance to cool down. I got up around 7 in morning and it was fairly warm already. Looks like we will be having some cooler temps and rain. I just hope there enough rain to combat for possible lightening.

We did a few things. Took care of some paperwork. I know I mention it in my last post. But I got some file, then there where small amount I toss in a garbage can. The other bit needs to be put in the safety deposit box. Murphy and I tried to fix some sprinkles. I think we should just go buy one. We went to the senior center we had lasagna, with lamb. Plus green beans, toast, green salad, peaches.
