1. Overview

ScriptGrain is operated by Adapt Progress Evolve Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using ScriptGrain at scriptgrain.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow unauthorised access. Notify us immediately at Get in touch if you suspect unauthorised use.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all writing samples and content you upload to ScriptGrain. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and analyse it solely for the purpose of generating your voice profile and content. We do not sell, share, or use your content for any other purpose. The third-party providers we rely on to process data on your behalf are listed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Generated Content

Content generated by ScriptGrain using your voice profile belongs to you. You may use generated content for any lawful purpose. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, originality, or suitability of generated content.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid plans (Writer, Operator, Studio, and Agency) are recurring subscriptions billed via Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. You may cancel at any time from the Settings page; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact Get in touch.

7. Top-Up Credits

Some plans let you buy top-up credit packs. Top-ups are one-off purchases, not subscriptions: they never expire, and they are spent only after your monthly plan credits run out. Top-up purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Credits have no cash value and are removed if your account is deleted.

8. Team & Organisation Accounts

Some plans include a team workspace. The workspace owner controls it: they manage the subscription, seats, member roles, and member removal. Content shared with a team workspace is visible to every member of that workspace, so only share what you are happy for your team to see. Team seats are billed through Stripe as part of the team subscription, and seat changes are prorated by Stripe in the usual way.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to:

Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or harmful
Impersonate another person without their consent
Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service
Upload content you do not have the right to use

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep ScriptGrain available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adapt Progress Evolve Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
