NASA is looking for ideas to help shape human health and performance research for the Moon Base. Input is being sought on research questions to explore as astronauts spend more time on the lunar surface, health and performance data to collect during early Moon Base development
The Moon’s rugged, heavily cratered surface fills the foreground, while Earth appears in the distance just above the curved lunar horizon, surrounded by the blackness of space. Clouds are visible across Earth’s sunlit side, while part of the planet remains in darkness. The Artemis II crew captured the image during their lunar flyby on April 6, 2026. Credit: NASA
