- Seldom agree with @NJ_Timothy ...but he is spot on here re Simon Levy failings. The track record of @CPSUK over past few years does not inspire confidence: the China 'spy' debacle, Kneecap prosecution blunder, continuing shortcomings re CPS Direct & communication with victims.Simon Levy has been jailed for life after murdering two women and raping a third. But he should never have been free to commit these crimes. My letter to the CPS.
- What happened when 2,500 drug dealers & criminals were locked up after EncroChat phones were hacked by law enforcement? Sure- Op Venetic - National Crime Agency investigation - was hugely successful - but what impact did it have on the ‘war on drugs’?
- Where are heads of @CPSUK @HMCTSgovuk @BTP & @hmpps ? Sir Mark Rowley steps up & takes responsibility (rightly) for @metpoliceuk mistakes in Simon Levy case - but why didn’t CPS charge him earlier or pass info to courts? Why did courts bail him? Why did others believe his lies?
