- Do I need Cloud to use ZenNotes?
- No. The app is free and works on its own with local or iCloud vaults. Cloud adds sync on every platform, backups and publishing.
- What happens to my notes if I cancel?
- They stay on your devices as plain files. Your Cloud copy becomes read-only when your plan ends, and you can still download it for 30 days.
- Can I run my own server instead?
- Yes. The self-hosted web app is free and open source. Run it with Docker.
- How do I pay?
- By card, through Stripe's checkout. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies.
