Facebook

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacySettings.
  2. Open Accounts Center (or visit Accounts Center from the menu).
  3. Choose Personal detailsAccount ownership and control.
  4. Select Deactivation or deletion, pick your Facebook account, then choose Delete account and follow the prompts.
  5. Confirm with your password. Deletion usually completes after a waiting period. Do not log back in if you want it to finish.

Instagram

  1. Open Instagram → your profile → the menu → Accounts Center.
  2. Go to Personal detailsAccount ownership and control.
  3. Select Deactivation or deletion, pick your Instagram account, then choose Delete account.
  4. Confirm and wait out the deletion period without logging back in.

Threads

  1. Threads is tied to your Instagram account. Open Accounts Center (from Instagram or Facebook settings).
  2. Go to Personal detailsAccount ownership and controlDeactivation or deletion.
  3. Choose your Threads account if listed separately, or follow Meta’s flow to remove Threads access / delete the Threads profile.
  4. If you only want Threads gone but Instagram to stay, use the Threads-specific delete option in help. Deleting Instagram also removes Threads linked to it.

WhatsApp

  1. Open WhatsApp → SettingsAccount.
  2. Tap Delete my account.
  3. Enter your phone number in full international format and confirm.
  4. Deletion is permanent: chats are removed from your device, you leave groups, and your number is removed from WhatsApp. Message backups (if any) are not deleted from your cloud drive unless you remove them yourself.
