This summer, come sing with us in the Paper Mache Cathedral each Tuesday at 7pm this summer. No experience necessary! We’ll review the shapes, go over parts, assemble our square, and sing! New to shape note singing? Learn more here. You can also watch a short video of us singing in the Cathedral here.

Please park either in the Cathedral Parking, then head behind the house to the Paper Maché Cathedral.

From our friend Robbie Leppzer: AN ARTIST RESPONDS TO WAR – Upcoming Screenings

ImageAN ARTIST RESPONDS TO WAR
a film by Robbie Leppzer

AN ARTIST RESPONDS TO WAR provides an intimate look at Peter Schumann, the visionary founder of the Bread and Puppet Theater, whose work has spanned six decades. In an age desperate for hopeful figures of cultural resistance, this new film is a testament to the radical, enduring idea that art is not a retreat from the world — it is a way of fighting for it.

Upcoming Screenings:

  • August 29 at 4pm and 7pm Catamount Arts, St. Johnsbury, VT (tickets) featuring filmmaker Robbie Leppzer in conversation with Mohsen Mahdawi, Vermont Palestinian human rights advocate, about his life growing up in Palestine in the West Bank, his work as an advocate for human rights, and the current state of his legal battles to fight deportation by the Trump administration.
  • Sunday, October 11 at 4pm Latchis Theater, Brattleboro, VT (tickets) featuring filmmaker Robbie Leppzer in conversation with Mohsen Mahdawi, Vermont Palestinian human rights advocate, about his life growing up in Palestine in the West Bank, his work as an advocate for human rights, and the current state of his legal battles to fight deportation by the Trump administration.
