Our affordable, built-for-you website model grew from that commitment: helping small businesses establish a professional online presence without requiring them to build it themselves or invest thousands of dollars in traditional custom web design.

What makes LeftField Local different from other web design agencies?

LeftField Local’s tiered website plans are not built around large custom website projects, long strategy phases, or complicated design packages. They provide an affordable website option for businesses that need a basic online presence without having to build it themselves.

Instead of asking business owners to learn a website builder, choose templates, install plugins, or figure out hosting, LeftField Local provides an easy, streamlined process for turning each customer’s final business materials into a professional webpage.

What makes LeftField Local different from DIY and AI-assisted website builders?

DIY and AI-assisted website builders can be helpful tools, but they still leave the business owner responsible for turning their information into a finished website.

Even with AI help, you still have to choose the layout, build the page, figure out the platform, check how it looks on mobile, handle publishing, and make sure everything is ready for customers to use.

LeftField Local removes that technical build step. You provide the final business materials for your website plan, and your brochure-style website is built and hosted for you, faster than it would take to figure out the DIY setup on your own.

How are LeftField Local’s prices able to stay so affordable?

LeftField Local is a web design agency, not a self-service website platform. Our team uses the logo, images and business information you provide to hand-build a complete, done-for-you website. You never have to learn a website builder, arrange the page yourself or pay a separate DIY platform fee.

We keep the service affordable through a modularized website system designed specifically for brochure-style informational starter websites and landing pages. Each website is built as one focused page using the sections included with the selected plan. The modularized process helps our designers work efficiently without relying on automated website generation or treating every business like a copy of the last one.

We call our approach Affordable by Design. We know there are other subscription-based website plans that include ongoing updates in their pricing, but we opted not to bank on clients who never, or rarely, need them. Instead of raising every customer’s subscription price to cover work they may never request, we keep our regular plan prices low and handle website updates only when they are actually needed.

Update requests are reviewed as a whole and quoted based on the actual work involved rather than a fee schedule for every individual change. Update pricing follows the same affordable approach as our website setup fees, and customers always receive the price before any work begins.

We apply the same fairness principle to plan upgrades. Customers can continue using their current plan with its existing features without upgrading. If a customer chooses to add a feature included only with a higher-tier plan, they may move to the plan that includes it. Higher-tier features are not added à la carte while retaining the lower plan’s renewal price. That keeps pricing consistent for all customers, so businesses with comparable website features pay comparable annual rates.

Our subscription-based plans are structured for cost efficiency. Hosting is already included, and billing annually instead of processing twelve monthly payments reduces administrative and payment-processing costs. By combining a focused website format, an efficient production system, pay-as-needed updates and lower ongoing overhead, LeftField Local can provide professional web design at prices that are realistic for small businesses still getting established.

That’s what Affordable by Design means at LeftField Local: charging for the services clients actually use instead of padding the price with services they may never need.

Does LeftField Local offer custom web design services?

Yes. In addition to our affordable tiered website plans, LeftField Local offers custom web design and development services separately.

If you need a larger website, multiple pages, custom functionality, ecommerce, integrations, or something else beyond the tiered plan options, contact us to discuss your needs. Custom services are quoted separately and are not included in or required as an upgrade to any website plan.

Does LeftField Local still offer SEO services?

No. LeftField Local previously explored SEO as part of its broader goal of providing affordable digital marketing services to small businesses.

However, the SEO landscape has become increasingly complex. Effective SEO now requires ongoing research, strategy, content development, technical oversight, and individualized attention. We no longer believe it can be packaged as a truly affordable service without either cutting corners or charging more than many small businesses can reasonably spend.

That does not fit our mission.

LeftField Local websites still include basic search and sharing best practices, such as standard page titles and meta descriptions, Open Graph and Twitter Card tags, and LocalBusiness schema markup. These are part of building a website correctly, but they are not a substitute for SEO strategy, keyword research, content development, or ongoing optimization.

Rather than offer a low-cost SEO package that could not realistically deliver meaningful results, LeftField Local chose to focus on a service that could be streamlined without sacrificing its value.

Today, LeftField Local is a web design agency focused on practical website solutions for small businesses. Our tiered plans provide affordable, built-for-you brochure websites through a focused system that allows us to build, publish, and maintain a professional online presence at a sustainable price—without DIY, inflated promises, or hidden fees. Custom web design and development services are also available separately from our tiered website plans.
