Who can join?
Bloggers, agencies, developers, publishers - anyone with an audience that trusts their recommendations. You do not need a VMP account to apply; you create one after you are approved.

Why does the email address matter?
Your approval is tied to the email on your application. When you sign in with that same address, the Join button appears for you and nobody else. Use a different email and we cannot match you to your approval.

Do I need to be a paying customer?
No. A free VMP account is enough. Many affiliates are agencies or writers who recommend tools they do not host themselves.

When do I get paid?
A commission locks for 60 days after the sale (that covers the customer money-back window), then becomes payable. Payable balances go out on the 1st of each month once they clear the payout minimum.

How are my referrals tracked?
Your link sets a 60-day cookie, last click wins. Your dashboard shows clicks, sales, and earnings as they happen.

Do renewals pay commission?
No - commission is on the initial purchase only. We publish that up front instead of surprising you later.

What happens if a customer refunds?
The commission is voided before it is ever paid out - the lock window exists exactly for this. You never owe money back for refunds inside the window.
