The Lantern has won several national awards such as Gold from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, Trophy Class from Virginia High School League, All-Southern from Southern Interscholastic Press Association, All-American with Five Marks of Distinction National Scholastic Press Association, and many individual awards for designs, poetry, and prose. We are also the proud recipients of the 2021 Scroggins Award from SIPA; making us the highest-ranked litmag in all the Southern states.
