This year was my first year at an online school. I was so shy, and it was really frustrating trying to do things because everything was so different. I felt that this school was not for me. I never felt so alone in my life. Then Mrs. Zraket with her warming smile saw I was struggling and helped. Anyone in her class can testify this information. She always drops everything she has to do to take care of us. She helps us when we are struggling, and need help. She is always there when we need her. She is the most caring considerate person I know. She definitely deserves to win. Because of her I know I am definitely going back to Tecca next year. Thank You Mrs. Z for the best year ever!

Mrs. Amico is an ELA teacher who has changed the lives of every student she has taught. She works tirelessly to ensure that every student excels at grammar, writing, analyzing short stories, and analyzing poetry. Mrs. Amico also ensures that each of her students comprehends every sentence of each story they read. Mrs. Amico also understands that every student is different, and each student has their own, unique way of learning. Mrs. Amico does her very best to help every student learn ELA.

My film teacher is like a shining light of passion, dedication, and inspiration. They have this infectious excitement that gets every student pumped up, creating an environment that’s both supportive and challenging. They’re amazing at breaking down complicated stuff into easy-to-understand bits, which has given me the confidence to dive into filmmaking. Plus, they’re always there with encouragement and helpful advice, pushing me to grow not just as a filmmaker but as a creative person. Their kindness and patience have really shaped my learning journey, and I truly think they deserve to win this award for all they’ve done to enrich film education.

First, I would like to say, the people you least expect to help you in hard, difficult, and probably not difficult at all may just be there in front of you the whole time. Hello, my name is Alyssa Marquez. I want to nominate my ESS (Exception Student Services) Teacher. I had her since 6th grade, I am now a junior in High School. As soon as I heard of this opportunity, I took it. I never knew that a person how never knew anything about me was willing to help me finish middle and help me come out with a $200 scholarship to any High School of my choice. She believed in me! And I believe this teacher deserves to be recognized because she truly cares for each one of her students. She is a funny person and likes to hang out with her “Kiddos.” She takes time to know every one of us. Even if that is individually or as a group. She is a good listener and is always willing to help with anything she can. If she sees that I am not having the best of days. She notices and takes time to help me with the problem. Not only is she a good-caring person. She always checks up on the family and I. Giving helpful advice to parents and just being there is really outgoing for a teacher. It’s beautiful to have someone like Mrs. Goodner in school and out. I believe she really deserves this because most Social Emotional teachers get overlooked and I believe this would be nice to show our community why a teacher like Ms. Goodner is a blessing to have. She really has out done herself. Thank you for your time!
