How it Works

Our Three-Step Antenna Analysis Process

1. Submit Product Details

First, fill out our initial assessment form with your product's technical specifications. Subsequently, our engineering team will review these details closely to ensure your hardware matches the requirements for a comprehensive RF scan.

2. Ship Your Hardware

Once your details are approved, send your physical hardware or prototype to our office. Next, our engineering team will safely receive and prepare the device for testing inside our specialized chamber.

3. Analysis & Recommendation

Following the preparation, our team conducts rigorous 2D/3D radiation pattern modeling and efficiency metrics testing to complete your RF antenna analysis. Finally, you will receive a detailed findings report alongside actionable engineering recommendations to optimize your overall performance.

Frequently
Asked Questions

What frequency bands does Piper support?

800 MHz to 6Hz

While we can review design files for initial consultations, a true RF antenna analysis requires physical testing. Sending your prototype or physical hardware to our office allows us to capture precise, real-world data inside our specialized testing chamber.

The Piper test chamber accommodates devices up to 16 inches in diameter and 16 inches in height, with a maximum verified weight of 5.6 lbs.

Turnaround time varies based on the frequency and antenna configuration.

The Piper analysis is similar to FCC Part 15C for intentional radiators. Piper tests are usually performed with a 1 mW signal injected into the device antenna. This tests the radiation capabilities of the antenna and not the amplifier system of the product. In contrast the FCC test would test the product’s combined RF transmit chain with the antenna.
