Mussels play a major role in cleaning up our Bay, but a majority of those mussels are threatened or endangered. Hatcheries like the Joseph Manning Fish Hatchery are vital in restoring and conserving our freshwater mussel population, giving us a cleaner Bay to enjoy and share
