The New World screwworm fly lays eggs in live warm-blooded animals, The larvae (maggots) burrow or “screw” into the host’s flesh, causing severe wounds and often death if untreated. Watch for - Enlarging wounds, foul, rotted flesh odor, signs of discomfort. Please report it.

Drone operations were conducted by State or Federal employees acting w/ landowner permission and within scope of their official duties related to wildlife mgmt + resource protection. Private use of drones for surveying / photographing wildlife or exotics requires state permits.
