I couldn’t be more proud of @CaseyBorba and how he’s handled this whole process! He’s going to be a Longhorn! @TexasBaseball Thanks to all of our family, friends, and all of the coaches that have helped get him here. Lots of work ahead!

Many days in that cage in the left, now moved him to Austin this weekend to his new home on the right. Very proud of you @CaseyBorba! It’ll be different not being coach every day, but can’t wait to just be dad cheering for you and @TexasBaseball

My heart is still reeling over the loss of Coach Alto, his wife and daughter. Although I never try to challenge Gods plans...this one really hits hard. The man, father, husband, and coach he was...something I have always admired! #legend

Last night I finally got to see @_JM55 in a Big League uniform. Had a little tear in the eye after the game. Told him ten years ago this was going to happen. Hard work pays off! @OLu_Athletics @olubaseball

Good friend @MoseleyAdam has been notified he will be suspended for the season because he and one of his players achieved the honor of representing our country on @USABaseball18U that won a gold medal this past summer. Wrong on so many levels…@AHSAAUpdates

Unfortunately, our season came to an end today. Although it wasn’t the outcome we all hoped for, this team was as special to me as it gets. It was more talented and cohesive than any team I have ever coached! Thank you to each of these young men and their families! @WeAreOLu

This MLB season, and the World Series in particular, definitely proves that the increased value of analytics might help win some more games but not win a championship! Maybe they can find a way to add heart, grit, baseball iq, and mental toughness to the equation? #SMH
