Several years into GDPR, it remains fucking bonkers in practice. Every site on the internet gets an awful pop-up that no one reads and clicks anything to make it go away as quickly as possible. It’s an idea that 100% backfired and is pointless and makes every website worse.
But but but all the data point to SF being a super safe, low crime paradise. Weird how everyone on the ground — from individuals to massive companies — acts as if the data are incorrect…

What the fuck is going on over at Instagram? A systematic attempt to alienate any and all users who originally loved the service? Look, we get the TikTok thirst. But my god, there’s going to be no soul left in that service. Just some confusing pile of carbon copied features.
