Netflix auto-playing previews for every single show is one of the most pronounced user-hating experiences online in a while. I get that it helps juice the audience count, but it turns browsing into a game of hot potato.

I’ve never met a successful executive (regardless of industry, function, gender, etc) who didn’t check email on the weekends or ‘after 5pm.’ Work-life blend became a reality well over a decade ago. Owning that is more powerful then blindly saying it isn’t true to succeed.

With all the attention on the market, black hole pics, TWTR takeover noise - we missed they found the cause of SIDs?! The cause of 37% of infant deaths & it just…passed us by. Closest thing to a miracle in a long time. Now for screening & prevention.

Nearly every woman I know well has suffered from pregnancy loss, infertility challenges, or something on the spectrum in-between. And yet, it’s the The Thing we don’t talk about - I’d wager the biggest thing. I hope that changes in the years ahead - and that tech plays a role.

Yesterday, while loading the conveyer belt at a grocery store, the older man ahead of me at pay station reached into his pocket to get his credit card & his handgun dropped to floor & spun down the aisle. The (pregnant) woman behind me & I jumped out of the way.
