What you've done is lose patients 20.8 million appointments per year where they will now fail to have their cancers and illnesses diagnosed in a time frame that allows them to receive beneficial care. The decision to adopt this wholesale, rather than consult, to placate a radical

Today, the UMAPs NEC reluctantly announced a step no one should ever have to take: Action has began against organisations whose policies have harmed MAPs, leading to 200 redundancies disproportionately affecting female and BAME PAs. This isn’t just about MAP redundancies—it’s

An organised attempt to silence me after months of being attacked by the same group just fell flat on its face. In a remarkable act of self harm George decided to misquote me and that if I disagreed he inferred he was going to expose receipts. I pointed out this could look like

pulsetoday.co.uk/news/regulatio… I thank the GMC and Chair for clarifying this very important part of the debate. I have been smeared for the best part of a year for maintaining the truth about how scopes of practice are formed - yet here we are. Maybe those delighting in the

Mr. Nash, CEO of UMAPs, is contradicting himself. Last night on Channel 4 News, he accused NHS employers of pushing PAs into unsafe practice, despite previously stating that PAs are working at the level of senior doctors (middle grade). youtu.be/-kL0aoS1cvI?si… x.com/medicalmodelbr…

This is embarrassingly poor attempt at scaring the public. Near zero a&p? They have both degree and level 7 anatomy and physiology knowledge and modules. They also have done the same chest drain courses that other medics carry out and have been found to meet the same standard.
