Unfortunately last night Simon Antonelli lost his battle with cancer. He received the money you raised for him yesterday so he knew his family would be taken care of. He was really humbled by an industry who got behind him when he needed it most. Thoughts are with his family 🙏🏽

I have now retired my Grandads pipe benders, not because they stopped bending pipe, but for fear they would be stolen. They mean the world to me, his hands held them in the same place I do to bend my pipes. His name was Vincent 💙 #Plumber

Sad scenes for our industry today as British Gas fires 1000’s of engineers, some with 40 years loyal service, who refused to be bullied into a new contract. Doesn’t seem fair to me 👎🏽 #StopTheBritishGasFire @BritishGas

One of my old customers has re-trained as a gas engineer. I’m going to book him to service my boiler (it’s broken) Call and text him all hours chasing him till he comes Not make him a cup of tea Once the job is done and he wants paying I’ll complain about the price then ghost him

The nicest thing just happened…. Got in a taxi in Newcastle, was telling the Taxi driver i’m running the #GreatNorthRun tomorrow. Went to pay my fare, he wouldn’t let me pay, and then he GAVE ME a fiver and said put that towards your charity 🤯 Faith in humanity +1
