This year's #ElNiño is expected to be the strongest on record. In El Salvador, I met farmers preparing for the impact before it hits. @WFP works with the government to take early action and protect crops and livelihoods. We now need the funding to sustain and scale this work.

Another drone strike hit a WFP warehouse in Dnipro in the last 24 hours. These attacks endanger humanitarian teams and operations. I was there last week and saw the unacceptable risks facing our teams. Humanitarians and their work should never be targets.

48 productive hours in #Brussels, meeting with leaders from the European Parliament, European Commission, Member States and the Arab League to discuss Sudan, Ukraine, humanitarian financing and sustained diplomacy. Brussels remains at the heart of international partnership.

Addressed the @EP_Development. Europe has been an invaluable supporter of WFP. But as crises compound, in Ukraine, Sudan, Gaza and more, we need the #EU to protect humanitarian funding and use its diplomacy and influence to end conflicts and ensure humanitarian access.
