Introduction

Getting Started

After confirming your account by email, create your first blog. You can manage multiple blogs from one Blogmaker account.

Create your blog

Open Blogs from your account menu and choose New Blog. Follow the setup prompts for the blog’s name, description, address, and logo. The starting design gives you a layout you can customize later.

Your name, description, and uploaded logo also initialize newsletter branding. Before accepting newsletter subscriptions, complete Email and newsletter setup.

Make it yours

Open Design Studio. General contains blog details, favicon, homepage, timezone, color scheme, fonts, and social profiles. Header, Banner, Content, Footer, and Forms let you customize each part alongside the preview.

The name in General identifies your blog inside Blogmaker. Header and Footer share the public blog title. When changing the name, description, or favicon in General, use the offered button if you also want to update the corresponding header, footer, and newsletter branding.

Check desktop, tablet, and phone previews, then select Publish to make your design changes live.

General settings and color schemes beside a live blog preview
The Studio keeps your controls beside the blog preview. Select the image to view it at full size.

Finish blog setup

Open Settings > Blog setup for Domains and URLs, Authors, Email settings, and SEO and Crawlers. You can connect a main domain, subdomain, or /blog on an existing website.

Write and publish

Create posts for articles and pages for content such as About or Contact. Add text, images, and other blocks, review the preview, and publish when ready. Private notes and Writing insights are available in the editor; see Publishing and writing tools.

Use header and footer menus to help readers find your pages. You can also make a published post or page your homepage.
