CGMood uses a credit-based system. First you purchase some credits, then you can spend them to download whatever you need. Once you have enough credits, just head to the 3D model that you want, and click the Download button.

Free models

  • Or unlock more with our minimal plans

How does the moderation process work?

CGMood evaluates every 3D model before approval. This helps maintain high quality standards and prevents unrelated content, poorly made assets, and scams.

Your 3D models are reviewed according to a set of objective criteria:

  • Modeling quality
  • Complexity of the subject
  • Shaders quality
  • Textures quality
  • Presentation quality (thumbnail and renders)
  • Similarity to the manufacturer’s product (if your 3D model reproduces an existing product)

How do I get paid?

You can request a transfer from your wallet to your PayPal account once per month. Requests are processed within 3 working days. Alternatively, you can keep your balance in your CGMood wallet for as long as you want, or use it as a payment method.

We currently send payments through PayPal. We also support Payoneer, but this requires contacting us directly.

Once you upload your first model for sale, or once you have funds in your wallet, you can add your PayPal information from your profile page.

If you do not have a PayPal account, you can create one for free . Otherwise, you will not be able to receive payments.

How do I purchase credits?

From the Purchase Credits page. We support Credit Cards, PayPal, and Wallet.

  • One credit on CGMood is worth €1.50 (incl. tax).
  • Credits are used to download assets tagged with the blue label, such as 4 CREDITS, 3 CREDITS, 2 CREDITS, 1 CREDIT.
  • Unspent credits expire one year after purchase.

Exclusive models

Exclusive models are bonus assets created by our team. They are tagged with the label EXCLUSIVE.

You can access Exclusive models in two ways:

Subscribers content

Our plans benefit both sellers and customers. Assets that are free or discounted for users with a Premium Subscription always have a green label.

  • Assets labeled FREE FOR SUBSCRIBERS are completely free for Premium subscribers.
  • Assets showing both labels, such as 4 CREDITS 2 CREDITS, are discounted for Premium subscribers.

Collections

Beta

Collections are bundles of assets offered at a convenient price. They are labeled with the COLLECTION tag.

Once you purchase a collection, you can download all included assets.

Wallet payment method

If you made sales with your 3D models, you can use your wallet balance as a payment method. The price stays the same, but checkout becomes faster.

How are my models stored?

Every model you upload is stored on Amazon S3 private cloud storage, providing safe and secure file management.

Whenever a customer downloads or purchases a model, a unique private key is generated for that user, allowing secure access to the file.

How is VAT applied on CGMood?

VAT on CGMood is fully covered by customers. The full amount, including VAT, is shown during checkout and on the product page. Sellers therefore receive payments equal to their raw royalty amount plus VAT.
