Who we are

A content company that happens to be a platform.

Contently started as a newsroom at heart — a place for credentialed writers to do good work for brands that deserved it. We built software because the software didn't exist: calendar, brief routing, compliance review, a talent directory deep enough to staff a regulated assignment on a day's notice.

Fifteen years later we still think of ourselves as editors first. The platform is the craft, not the product. The product is the story.
