A week in bento XII: Bento 141 to 145
Jan. 29th, 2011 03:57 pm
Monday's bento: Onigiri, tamagoyaki, Nürnberger sausages, bell pepper sticks and cherry tomatoes.

I'm not sure why the onigiri were so huge - it was just the usual amount of rice. After taking the photo, I had to pack them into a different box that is slightly bigger than this one so I could close the box!
Bento 142 - Pizza bento

Tuesday's bento: Pizza with minced meat and onions, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, cucumber, carrots and half a banana.

On Monday evening I went out for dinner with colleagues. The restaurant we were at has wonderful pizza, baked in a huge stone oven - and they are huge, so I think everyone of us had leftovers for lunch the next day. Actually, cold it tasted even better than warm XD!

Bento 143 - Rice, salmon and tamagoyaki

Wednesday's bento: Rice with gomashio, cucumber, tamagoyaki, cherry tomatoes, orange slices and mini Mars chocolates.

Heh, I learned that an off angle makes for a prettier picture! ... Yes, I'm slow, I know.

Bento 144 - Fried rice and assorted apple carving

Thursday's bento: Fried rice with turkey, egg, carrots, bell pepper and green onion, apple, cherry tomatoes and mini Mars.

I decorated the rice with a few carrot hearts and butterflies - just because ^^.

Bento 145 - Hua Juan and meatballs

Friday's bento: Hua juan, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper and orange slices.

I heated up the hua juan in the oven - guess I left it in a bit too long so it got browned and wasn't quite the fluffy white thing it is when fresh. Ah well, as long as it still tasted good ;).

Those were the last of my freezer stash meatballs - I'll have to whip up a new one soon.
