yes, I know its been a while, but I had just too much on my plate. Moving to the new (RL) house and getting a new computer threw me back so hard. What a nightmare to install and learn all the updated and new software to start over with the brand new system. Thanks to various mesh body brands I have to work with two Blender and Avastar Versions after endless trouble shooting. But after 3 months of hard work I made it! I have created a little line of new clothing being introduced at the Shop & Hop Event starting on 21st June.
It is also the 21st SL Birthday. I am so happy to participate again and that Second Life is still such a wonderful vivid platform for fashion lovers. There is a fresh summer gift for you. Have fun and shop til you drop!!!
2024 is starting colorful. Tomorrow, Sunday, 28 Jan. 11 AM SLT I will have a fashionshow with a massive Afterparty. All my followers, customers and friends are cordially invited to The Basilica! Actually Freda was a doll for me from day one, representing my inner me in Secondlife and being my conducting hands inworld. Now bad me made her a real doll without asking.
She hates the strings to get tangled over and over again.
It wasn’t a quick done thing. I had to give myself a whole day off to style the fun doll body by Salt & Pepper. I even needed customer support to get rid of some wrong transparencies. Thank you to Izzabella for your quick help! It took quite a while to get a skin for that special porcelain look and a simple belly button, but keeping the typical Freda face. I would have loved to have the face one tone darker, but the light face (first time) works perfect without an ugly neck seam – a hard decision. Then I made a new AO for her with all kind of available doll, puppet and marionette animations I could find. In the end I gave her 5 strings for only the head and arms. Freda Doll must have at least the freedom to walk where she wants and she walked right into a Café to eat a huge slice of cake…

Hard to believe, SL is getting 20. While scrolling through the fantastic magazine LL has made (https://issuu.com/secondlifeofficial/docs/sl20bguide) my own thoughts came up… SL had such an enormous impact on my real life. Starting in 2007 I have made wonderful friends in SL and I have found my RL partner whilst I thought I would never find a matching RL partner anymore in this life….lol. After 13 years we still love each other and we have just built a brand new house. It also had a wonderful impact on my work life, sometimes painful, but actually I somehow found my own way to proceed to work as a fashion designer (I love designing patterns and clothing), but without the terrible pressure and side effects from real fashion industry. So after 16 years in SL with a long pause due to private life I am still creating my colorful SL fashion and I do not care what people actually want and what I should do to do the perfect marketing. I just create what I love and what I want to wear in my own slow speed.
I am very thankful that SL is that stable due to constant busy people, who love SL just like I do. I am happy, that our avis are looking that gorgeous with getting older. And thank you, that I have the wonderful chance to show my newest summer collection at the Shop & Hop Event again. What an intense time! This morning I went through my old pics to find some portraits. It was difficult as I have tons of pics only with a bunch of curly hair snuggled to a male SL shoulder, but rarely any head shots.
I always loved the look of my avi, so I did not do major changes through the years, while my RL and SL life had some major changes due to SL. I stumbled about one of those cuddle pics from 2010 showing my face and the reason of these changes :-). I am still with this guy in both worlds and it is just like a miracle…
I am so done with this cold wet winter weather, that I updated some of my bikinis to the new Belleza Gen.X body sizes to divert. And there we go, Antonia and me, to the beach to make photos!!!
It is just so relaxing to watch your avi drift in the water showing a lot of naked skin. You can almost feel the warmth of the sun…

Travelling in SL is so easy and so much fun especially for fashionistas. So here are two pics from the latest trip to Paris with my model Nathalie.
In our suitcases we had a colorful mix of clothing from {Poeme} and me, “Freda”. Missy, who does an incredible job to organize the Shop and Hop Event has set our booths side by side.
We made friends and fell for each others designs directly. A pity Elysiane could not join us on this lovely trip. We are all just always much too busy working in SL.
