Given: Volume 2 is the second volume of given.
Cover description[]
The cover features all four main band members in a calm yet emotionally resonant composition. Mafuyu Sato stands at the center, holding his microphone with a serious, introspective expression, reflecting his growing presence as the band's vocalist. Beside him is Ritsuka Uenoyama, his guitar slung over his shoulder, leaning slightly toward Mafuyu in a gesture that suggests their deepening bond and musical partnership. To Mafuyu's other side, Haruki Nakayama stands with quiet composure, embodying his role as the group's emotional anchor, while Akihiko Kaji, positioned at the far right, maintains a relaxed yet focused stance that hints at his layered personality. The background features soft gradients of blue and purple with subtle waveforms, evoking a sense of moodiness and connection. The overall atmosphere is gentle and intimate, capturing the evolving dynamics and emotional depth shared between the band members.

English[]
- This section, or a part of it, has been transcluded from Volume 1; any changes involving it should be made there instead.
- Love of music unites the four members of the band Given: hotheaded guitarist Uenoyama, playboy drummer Akihiko, gentle bassist Haruki, and Mafuyu, a singer gifted with great talent and burdened by past tragedy. Their struggles and conflicts may drive them apart, but their bond to the music—and to one another—always brings them back together again.
- As the band races toward their first live concert, Mafuyu struggles to write lyrics for their new song but can't find the words to express the emotions burning within him. Meanwhile, Uenoyama hears rumors about Mafuyu's past and is bewildered by his own feelings. The tension builds until the night of the show, when the band explodes into a raging, life-changing performance.[4]

English[]
- High school student Ritsuka Uenoyama just wants to take a nap at his favorite hiding spot, but instead he finds classmate Mafuyu Sato already sleeping there, cradling a broken stringed guitar. After Uenoyama fixes the guitar, Mafuyu begs him to teach him how to play. Uenoyama's never taught a beginner before, so he's reluctant, but he finally gives in to Mafuyu's persistent requests and begins teaching him the basics until the day he first hears Mafuyu sing.
- Floored by Mafuyu's talent, Uenoyama immediately asks the other boy to join his band without even consulting bandmates Akihiko Kaji and Haruki Nakayama. Determined to come up with a new song for them to play at their first live concert, Uenoyama gives Mafuyu the job of writing the lyrics, a task the quiet student finds nearly impossible.
- Then one day, Uenoyama hears something disturbing about an old classmate of Mafuyu's. The rumors say that this student suddenly committed suicide, and that he was very close to Mafuyu…[3]
