Frequently Asked Questions

Reservations

What does the $199 reservation deposit include?

Your $199 deposit gives you priority access to purchase NexPhone before general availability, with early-bird pricing. When your unit is ready to ship (target: Q3 2026), we’ll email you to complete checkout for the remaining $350 + shipping + any applicable taxes/duties.

Is the reservation deposit refundable?

Yes. The $199 reservation deposit is fully refundable. You can cancel anytime for a full refund.

Does a reservation guarantee delivery on a specific date?

A reservation secures your place in line, but it does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Our current target is Q3 2026, and we’ll share updates if the schedule changes.

Why is the remaining balance due later?

We collect a deposit now to reserve your spot, then collect the remaining balance closer to shipping. This keeps your reservation flexible and makes it easy to cancel if your plans change.

Can I reserve more than one NexPhone?

Yes. If you want multiple units, place separate reservations. We may limit quantities per customer in some regions to keep reservations fair.

What is the $1 waitlist deposit?

In some countries, NexPhone will be offered through an authorized reseller / local distributor. The $1 deposit lets you join the waitlist for your region so we can notify you and help you get priority access when local sales open.

Is the $1 waitlist deposit refundable?

The $1 deposit is primarily used to confirm real interest and reduce spam signups. If you have an issue, contact us and we’ll help.

How will I know when it’s time to complete my purchase?

We’ll email you with a secure link when your unit is ready. You’ll then complete payment for the remaining balance, confirm your address, and choose shipping options.

Why are some countries “waitlist only”?

Some regions have extra requirements (regulatory approvals, import/tax complexity, tariffs, or language/support needs) that make direct shipping impractical. In those markets, we’ll sell through an authorized reseller that can provide the best local experience.

Shipping

Where do you ship from?

U.S. orders ship from our U.S. warehouse. For other Direct Shipping countries, we plan to ship internationally from Hong Kong (or another nearby fulfillment hub if needed).

When will NexPhone ship?

Our current target is Q3 2026. We’ll share updates by email and on the website as we progress through production.

How much is shipping?

Shipping cost depends on your country and the courier option you choose. You’ll see the shipping estimate during checkout when you complete the remaining balance closer to shipment.

Will I have to pay import duties, VAT, or taxes?

Possibly. Import rules vary by country. Depending on your location and shipping method, taxes/duties may be collected at checkout (DDP) or at delivery (DDU) by the courier/customs authority.

Do you offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)?

In some regions we may offer DDP so taxes/duties are collected upfront. Where DDP isn’t available, shipments may be delivered DDU and fees are collected upon import.

Can you ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

In most cases, we require a street address for courier delivery. If APO/FPO is supported for your country, we’ll show it at checkout.

Can I change my shipping address later?

Yes. You’ll confirm (or update) your shipping address when you complete the remaining balance closer to shipment.

What happens if a package is delayed in customs?

Customs delays can happen. If additional information is required, the courier may contact you. We’ll do our best to help with paperwork, but import decisions are ultimately made by local customs authorities.

What is your return policy?

We’ll publish the full return policy before shipments begin. In general, returns must be initiated within a defined window after delivery and the device must be in good condition. (Local consumer rules may vary by region.)

What about countries on the waitlist?

If your country is on the waitlist, NexPhone will be sold through an authorized reseller in your region. The reseller will set local pricing and handle local shipping, taxes, and support details.

Network Compatibility & SIM

Does NexPhone support 5G and dual SIM?
