Poster Session and Grad Reception!!!

It was a huge honor to have been chosen as one of the students for the poster session.  There were 21 out of 114 students from the program chosen.  It felt wonderful to be able to display my work and network with others who were going through the same thing or principals looking for employees.

 

I wanted to use this opportunity to get my blog name out there and for networking purposes, so I had business cards made with my info.  I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!!!  I just whipped something up on publisher and took it on my flash drive to Staples and a few hours later, I had business cards!  I highly recommend all educators getting one.  You never know when you might need to give your information to someone for a future opportunity.

 



 

This was my little set up at the poster session.  Of course my ppt was scrolling, my business cards and I had a handout about my research.. but I also made a poster with QR codes that accessed my tpt store and my blog.  Don't you just love technology these days?!?!

 

Last, I was incredibly honored to receive an award for Achievement of Excellence for Action Research.  What a night!

Did you notice anything different...?  Yes, I have a new blog design.  I LOVE IT!!!!!  I chose Tenille because of her incredible talents and reasonable price.  If you are considering starting a blog or just want an update-- she is your girl!  It was super easy and I was incredibly pleased with the finished product.  Thanks Tenille!!!

As everyone knows it was Easter this last weekend.  We had so much fun enjoying the Easter Experience our church put on for the community.  Here are a few pics from that day and Sunday.

She met the Easter Bunny, Cinderella, and some other characters!

She went on an egg hunt!

They also had animals to pet.  She loves animals, so this was probably her favorite part!

We also rode on a small train!  It was a fun day!!

She is wearing the outfit her Memie gave her and sitting on the blanket her Gigi gave her.  They matched perfectly!  She loved opening the Easter eggs- that's how I got her to sit still in the pictures.. hehe!

Yesterday, it was too pretty not to get outside.  We played with Sara's new water table and had a blast!

Finally, I am super honored to have been chosen to present at the poster session for the Education Graduate Students.  I believe there were only 12 of us chosen and I was one of them!  What an honor.  I'm still on cloud 900 right now... :)

I have been so busy with my girl and getting my action research finished, that my poor blog, tpt store and my addiction to clip art have suffered.  I am sooooo ready to get back to some of the products I have been working on!  Lately, the picture above has been my view...  Come on May 3rd!!!!!!

This is me being excited about graduation.. Can you tell????
