Cooldock will be much more usable and extensible if a user could create their own widget. Either through the importing of a widget file (perhaps zip file) or allowing for a community portion where users can submit their own widgets to be reviewed and approved. Relying on a developer to build out widgets in an application means there is an inherent limit on how extensible widgets can be. Right now, if you don't build a widget, it'll never exist.

Given that the profile shortcuts combine some modifier keys, usually with the left hand, the 1, 2, and 3 keys are much easier to reach than 0, 1, 2 since the 0 key is on the opposite side of the keyboard. I get that its probably 0 based index but remapping to start at 1 is far easier to use.

I think CoolDock would benefit from including professionally designed widget templates that users can install with one click. While the app is highly customizable, it's difficult to know what looks good or which widgets work well together. The reported cross-screen movement and jitter still need verification when dragging a window onto another display and releasing it. The Clock widgets are already great. It would be useful to slightly expand the stopwatch feature into a simple project time tracker without making it too complicated. The idea would be to create a project and optionally define a planned amount of time, for example: Project XY — 10 hours planned Then I could select the project and start or stop the timer directly from the widget. I would like the ability to display multiple Cooldocks at the same time and assign a separate profile with different widgets to each dock. At the moment, multiple profiles can be created, but they are all used within a single Cooldock. It would be great to have an additional option that allows each profile to be displayed as its own separate dock. I would like a feature that allows Cooldock in Floating mode to automatically show and hide together with the original macOS Dock. Desired behavior: * The macOS Dock is set to automatically hide and show. * Cooldock is set to Floating mode. * Cooldock can be positioned to the left or right of the original macOS Dock, not above it. * When I move the cursor to the bottom edge of the screen, both docks should appear at the same time. * Both docks should sit side by side at the same height without overlapping. * When the cursor leaves the dock area, both docks should hide together. * Cooldock should remember whether it was placed on the left or right side, including the spacing between both docks. At the moment, Cooldock can remain visible in Floating mode, but there does not seem to be an option to synchronize its visibility with the macOS Dock. A feature such as “Sync with macOS Dock” or “Show Floating Cooldock next to macOS Dock” would be ideal. This would allow the original Dock to remain available for apps and open windows, while Cooldock could sit beside it for widgets and quick actions.

Right now, I think it only stores widgets? Is it possible to include other toggles like position, monitor placement, auto-hide, all those tweaks in profiles so that it's easy to switch to the right configurations. As someone who has a second monitor I like it on the second monitor (always visible) but then when i switch to just one, that sticks in the position I have put it in when i had the second monitor. Screenshot attached which shows the problem. The divider widgets' delete button is outside the clickable area so they can't be removed. I've tried all kinds of combinations of configuration and appearance settings but can't get them to show up inside the clickable area. The cool dock does not show up on the selected screen if the other screen has a fucclscreen app. the dock will refuse to show. id love to see the cool dock behave like the normal dock. hover at the edge of whatever screen and the dock will appear there. that would be so helpful.

My brains mental model is trying to memorise where it is, but it'd just be easier if Cooldock Settings, was in all the right click menus either way. e.g even right clicking finder, it doesn't have the settings for cool dock which feels conceptually weird.

I would love to be able to swap the profiles with gestures, there was another dock app that did that but they make it SO insanely hard by making it a 5pixel vertical line, but if youhave a track pad you can just do it with two fingers WHEN on the dock. Right now the profiles hover makes everything at the bottom of ANY ai apps stop working, buttons, change ai model, can't press send, I have to SHOO it away just to change settings and it's getting frustrating, so I have to close the app.

When I would use Cooldock, it would constantly keep resizing my windows really weird so much so it made working with coding and seeing my work and results unsuable. There's something about the dock resizing to move windows out of the way that is resizing winows on other monitors.

- Mac Studio, OS26.5.2 Scenario: - OS dock (OSD) set to show & hide automatically - OSD magnification set to <ON> - OSD layout set to right side of screen - Cooldock (CD) set to ‘bottom' & ‘reveal’ Expected behaviour; CD is hidden until the cursor moves to the bottom edge of the screen. I will caveat this with the fact I’ve downloaded in the last half hour, but I’m having trouble finding that sweet spot between showing Cooldock vs the OS dock when both are on the same edge of the screen and both set to hide. Could you increase the distance at which Cooldock was triggered to display or ideally, could it be user defined? This doesn't appear to be an issue when CD is at the top of the screen - the cursor only needs to hover over the menu bar rather than go right to the edge of the screen.

I've updated the app icons on my Mac to personalized icons - they show with the updated icons in the Application folder but when added to the CoolDock, it shows the original icons. I bought the app and I really like it! The only thing is, I'd like to see an indicator showing which app is active if it's in a folder. I’d also like the ability to open currently active apps from a folder without opening the folder itself. Here’s how I envision it: if two apps are open from a folder, hovering over the folder would reveal a small panel at the top with icons for only the active apps; clicking on an icon would let you switch to that app or, conversely, close it.

Hi! It was love at first sight — I purchased Cooldock right away, and I couldn't be happier with it. The design is beautiful, and it comes with so many of the widgets I've been wanting, which really helps my workflow. I have one question and one request. 1. Is there a way to easily rearrange widgets after they've been placed? Perhaps because I'm using the floating design, I haven't found any intuitive way to reposition widgets once they're on the dock. Can they be reordered somewhere in the settings or the widget screen? Ideally, something like a long-press → move mode would be wonderful (right now, long-pressing moves the dock itself instead). 2. The text inside the window that appears when I place a folder feels a bit small and hard to read. It would be great if the font size could be adjusted, or if the icons themselves could be made larger. Also, a dropdown to change the sort order would be super cool! Looking forward to future updates. Thank you for releasing such a lovely app!

When enabling the Liquid Glass appearance option in Cooldock, the dock displays a noticeable white border/outline around its container. This completely undermines the translucent glass effect the feature is supposed to achieve — instead of a clean, seamless frosted-glass look that blends with the desktop, you get a harsh, opaque white stroke that makes the dock look unpolished and out of place. The white border appears to be either an unintentional rendering artifact or a fallback stroke that wasn't removed before shipping the feature. Either way, it clashes heavily with the visual intent of Liquid Glass and makes the option feel unfinished. Requested fix: Remove or make the border fully transparent/adaptive so the Liquid Glass material can render cleanly without any solid outline interrupting the effect. The dock should feel like it's part of the desktop, not outlined on top of it.

Many people use apps like Dockey to make the Apple Dock appear and disappear more quickly. This conflicts with Cooldock's fixed speed. It would be great if there was a way to adjust the speed and/or delay yourself.

Not sure if this is expected behavior, but when the Reserve Bottom Space toggle is turned on, I noticed that even on my second monitor where the dock is not active, the bottom space restriction seem to also be in place. I can't freely size or position windows on the second monitor because when something crosses into the supposed reserved space the window gets resized and thrown into the main display where the dock is active.

It would be great to position the dock on the edge of the screen or right next to the default dock. Technically you can place the dock there with the floating option, but fixed positioning to the sides or a relative positioning next to the macOS dock would be awesome! :)

I use Fantastical so would prefer this as a widget option. However super-critical is the ability to select which calendars display as I have many calendars and don't want all displayed (whether Fantastical or native Mac Calendar). Same for Reminders - need to select which lists are displayed.

When using full-screen apps or watching videos in full-screen, Cooldock stays visible and overlaps the content instead of getting out of the way. This is distracting and breaks the immersive full-screen experience. It would be great to have an auto-hide option that automatically hides Cooldock when an app enters full-screen mode (or when a video is playing full-screen), and brings it back once you leave full-screen. Ideally this could be toggled in the settings, so users who want Cooldock always on top can keep the current behavior. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open any app or video in full-screen mode. 2. Observe that the Cooldock bar remains visible on top of the content. Expected behavior: Cooldock automatically hides while in full-screen and reappears when exiting full-screen.

The "Add Folders" widget should open (inside) the selected folder, eliminating the need to click into the 'custom' folder a second time. Another idea would be for the custom folder to open like the 'Application Widget' if possible. 3. When selecting the 'Widgets...' option from Cooldock, the ability to close the widget window by clicking outside would be a better user experience than having to click the "x" in the upper right corner. Proposed behavior Add a setting that lets the user pick where the app's dock appears (e.g. top / bottom / left / right, or a custom position). When the native macOS Dock is positioned on the left or right side of the screen (vertical orientation) instead of the bottom, the app's own dock position is broken and no longer displays correctly. Steps to reproduce Open System Settings → Desktop & Dock and set the Dock position to Left or Right. Launch the app (or bring it to the foreground). Observe the app's dock position. The app displays a document correctly on the primary Mac display, but as soon as a second monitor is connected via HDMI, the document window's position becomes corrupted and it ends up partially or fully off-screen. Steps to reproduce Launch the app on macOS with a single (built-in/primary) display. Confirm the document is displayed correctly and positioned within the screen. Connect a second monitor via HDMI. Observe the document window. Expected behavior The document window should stay on a visible screen (or reposition gracefully) when an external display is connected. I have two monitors, the 'Always Visible' option is better for me as I want to see Cooldock, however when i hover over it and try to adjust the volume for example it hides. This is very annoying, especially as my dock is on the other monitor so the hiding of Cooldock is adding nothing to the experience. The other setting 'Reveal at Bottom Edge' is better for clicking on things but then I don't get to look over and see the stat panels. I really think a third visibility option is appropriate for this.

Loving CoolDock so far. One issue I’ve noticed is that the CoolDock bar overlaps application windows and UI elements instead of adapting around them.
