April Photo 15

Image What the kids are reading today:
B: Pippi Calzaslargas
(Pippi Longstockings in Spanish; unfortunately, this one turned out to be too hard for her in Spanish, so she switched books later in the week.)
J: Loser by Jerry Spinelli
(J can see a lot of parallels to his own school experience in the life of the main character in this book. I can only hope that the point of the book is that he's really not a loser, and the kids will appreciate him---as I hope for my J as well.)

Day 225---Wednesday

Image B and I have worked on this library of books at my workplace. It's 5 shelves tall, and sorted by subject. This day we got through "Transportation." I'm trying to inventory the books we have, to see what kinds of books we might still need.
Aren't they colorful? Our center is blessed to have such a large collection.

Day 165---Saturday

Image This is what I started reading this week. I'm reading the book that is the upcoming movie. Next, I will go ahead and read book 6, so that when book 7 comes out next month, I will have all the story flowing in my brain. :-)
