anyway,celebrated my 21st birthday @ mizi bistro, new world park! they served one of the best mushroom soup ever!! soooooo nice dat u wont leave even a drop left in the bowl! xD



anyway, i wanted something special for my 21st birthday cake n decided to design my own!hehe

decided to add cupcakes around the main cake to add my effect on theme : spring =) and the cupcakes are also the doorgift for every guest of the evening

ok.dis is my 1st post as a 21year-old grown up lady~ (cey...grown up lo~ *proud* xP )

so yea..i turn 21 on the 2nd of march..and i feel old now..LOL im suppose to act more mature n so on..bt occording to my fwen, the word : childish cant seems to stop following me around~ xD mayb im born to be not the mature type..haha


anyway, had a splendid n all the memorable birthday the other day.


THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO SPECIAL ON MY BIRTHDAY!! was so touched over all the surprises everyone gave me~ xD


1. housemates had a surprise 'party' for me when the clock strikes 12!

they came knocking on my room door..n went i open the door..SURPRISED! birthday cake, song, presents and even VIDEO CAMERA appeared before me!! seriously i was so shocked n do not know how to react.. therefore i ended up hiding behind my door due to my paiseh-ness.. @@

and they just hav to video my surprised reaction..==....






dis is my birthday cake!xD was too shocked after everything that i actually forgot to make a wish before blowing the candle =S ... thus making me blow the candle twice cz they say no matter wat must make a wish..haha


everyone share the fats n calories wif me by helping me to finish up the cake in the middle of the night..haha...


2. had a surprised present from mummy all the way from penang!

seriously, mummy was soooooooo daring to pos laju this here.. i mean.. who dares to send gifts frm lazo diamond through pos laju??LOL
plus the name LAZO DIAMOND is stated clearly on the box!!haha

3. presents received on that day itself!hehe

housemates shared $$ n got me 2in1 iron tongs, nail dryer and hair product... meaningful birthday card + lazo diamond stuff frm mummy... adorable birthday card frm the coursemate...


4. lots n lots of sms + calls on that day..that my hp ran out of battery halfway!haha

according to my fwen, my senior actually sms everyone my hp number n ask everyone to wish me happy birthday! so sweet of her! xD


5. oh ya! the president of chinese society actually announced to everyone dat the other day was my borthday n make everyone sing birthday song to me!



was soooooo touched dat so many ppl made such effort to celebrate my birthday!thank you once again! ^^v

and welcome to my blog! :)

so yea...this is my first blog of the year!!hehe

the year 2010 in a nutshell is indeed a great year for me! i must say that i truky enjoyed myself a lot last year despite facing many changes and challenges in my life..

hmm..that particular year made the biggest changes in my life to be exact! why?

1. gt my FIRST choice of course and also in the public university that i wanted! yea!its like double bingo for me.. im seriously very grateful and thankful for being offered this course! oh! in case u dunu..im doing degree in mechanical engineering major in design and innovation right now.

so now u may wonder..what? mechanical enginering for a girl? are u nutz or smth? well..i would say..its 21st century now..and girls and guys are all equal aren't they?hehe

2. first time in my entire life to leave my hometown and stay all by myself in a new place called malacca!

call me pampered brat or smth bt thats true... :( im forever stuck in penang island that i think i've been to seberang perai (mainland) less than 10 times in my entire life!LOL

so travelling all the way south living alone without any relatives here in malacca was a challenge to me at first.. However, thank Buddha that i've pull it through and in fact enjoying myself here!xD

3. i survived sem1!haha

to be honest..i was afraid and do not noe what to expact cz the word enginnering sounds bold n tough to me!bt only Buddha knows wat went wrong wif my brain that i picked this course as my first choice in the end and survived sem1.LOL

4. not to forget, the working experience i've gained as part timer.

in 6mths time, i've managed to expereinced working as a part timer in 3 total different field!

i've worked in a perfume shop and also as a brand ambassador for both nestle nescafe and friskies pet food!LOL

its like few mth u wear pretty clothes and work at air-con perfume shop then suddenly u r off preparing samples of nescafe in supermarket and promoting them and follow by promoting pet food in supermarkets!haha

so...after reading all this, don't u think that 2010 is indeed a remarkable and interesting year for me?xD

i will always remember all the wonderful things that happened in the year 2010 in my heart. but at the same time i should move on and welcome the year 2011 wif open arm! rely hope that this year would turn out to be better year than 2010. *crossed finger*

happy tang-yuan day everyone!!

hie hie!! im back!! enjoyed myself to the fullest bt obviously lack of sleep.. panda eyes are conquering my face as usual!haha


so did anyone miss me over here?? XD


btw, today is no any normal wednesday. its a special wednesday. do u noe wats so special wif it?? guess n c..


no. i know u r gona tell me its gsc movie day or mayb baskin robin pink day.. but no! dats not the ans.. =="


today is the tang yuan day. an important day to the chinese it seem... in short, its the day we eat / being force (my case la..) to eat tang yuan

if u wana know the history n bla bla bla..just google it ok? =.=



as usual the night before i'll help mummy to make the tiny tang yuan.. bt dis year the quality control on the shapes n sizes a bit out lo.. cz we both were super drop dead tired after coming back home... n we both were lack of sleep..so u could just imagine the half close eyes making the tiny tang yuan!haha


oh! like wat i said earlier..i was always being force to eat tang yuan.. i dun rely like tang yuan.. ><
it taste like flour to me.. its basically some colourful glutinouss ball that comes wif sugar syrup served either hot or cold.. the syrup is forever too sweet for me.. and the balls taste like flour(ok. i just said that twice..but its true.. :s)


so for this year..mummy made a lil twist to the traditional recipe so that i can eat them happily! XD

no more super sweet syrup as the soup! HAPPY!!!

mummy replace it with her home cook soya bean milk as the base! the soya bean milk taste not too sweet n just nice to cover the flour taste of the glutinous balls! so.. thumbs up for mummy!
its definitely nicer than the traditional recipe!hehe

surprise mini birthday party for wen yee

it was wen yee's birthday! so we (the family) planned to give her a mini surprised birthday party!!hehe (although we are in the middle of finals)haha


everyone gt excited (or mayb was it just me?lol.. i dunu..) when it comes to planning..like where to gt the cake? wat r we gona eat? cook? buy?? delivery??? we even went to survey th cake shop to see wat kind of cakes do they offer here..hahaha


so when the day comes...

we bought her a cake of course! birthday cake is a basic thing for a party rite?lol

4.we locked the door so when she.. knock knock.... we go..SURPRISED!! n sing her birthday song!!hehe


super glad dat our plan goes on smoothly! did we make her surprised??







YES WE DID!! she was so pai seh dat her face turn red n she do not know how to react!!especially when we sang her birthday song i different version!!hahahaha

a lil twist to deepavali this year

its deepavali again! :)

so i would like to take this opprtunity to wish all my indian friends happy deepavali and as for the others, happy STUDY week!! haha

ya, i know. im such a kill joy cz i just hav to highlight the word STUDY to u all..haha..

anyways, saw this amazing kolam in new jusco that day! its superly huge k?

pictures was zoomed all the way frm 2nd or 3rd floor of the shopping mall using my baby c903 :)

i was actually amazed by it.hehe

cz they even have toning on it and to make it stand out.. they put glitters here n dere too! gorgeous and hard work i would say! bravo to the artist :)

deepavali dis year was 'special'..

1. deepavali used to be happy day cz its a public holiday! me n mummy would end up ronda-ing around

2. deepavali is supposed to be a festival of light isnt it? like bright light everywhere..soo bright til u might wana consider wearing sunglasses everywhere you go!haha

now? to hav a lil twist to it...

my 'genius' light in the living room choosed to blow off dis time..during study week!!

not only that! seeing that the light in the living room went caotic, the toilet light felt lonely n decided to kill himself too!!

so the whole house ended up bathing romantically in the toilet!lol its scary k?... cz i cant see anything in dere ><

no matter day or night its stil equally dark cz there isnt any window or smth in the toilet!ish...

i was teasing my roommate by telling her not to mistakenly used hair shampoo as facial cleanser or smth..hahaha

see! deepavali is so interesting dis year, no? lol

p/s: the fastest time for them to repair the lights would be this monday! so im gona spend my weekend emo-ing in the dark while studying i guess?haha

oh well..she is basicaly one of my best cousin that i have ever ever had..


so good til she fetch me to school n back home every single day during her form 6 in my sch.. then, being 'hong so po'..we tend to hang out somewhere or mayb go round round makan makan before we go home after sch.. so in other words we are like dating!LOL


oh..n we did that not once in a while..but all the time!!haha

i miss those days..... XD




not only dat.. im proud to tell everyone that this motherly cousin of mine is alwayz dere for me..she tend to help me in every single thing that she could even without me asking..


somehow she is always dere to offer me help when i needed one!



even til now.. we are hundreds n hundreds kilometers away from each other n even home ( me in malacca n she is in sabah)... she even calls me off n on to see if im alright n if im coping wif my new life here. how could anyone wish for a better cousin than this, right?




oh! i must tell u dis!she even come all the way frm cyberjaya(doing her internship there dat time) to malacca by suprise just to accompany me to my uni during registration!!! n even asked her fwen to pick me up frm toll when i reached malacca! so touched wey......


plus plus..the other time when i was having stress to complete my never ending n clueless assignment here.. she helped me too! by giving me ideas on what to write n all... when she could have choose to just ignore me dat time..afterall its my assignment not hers.. but she did not!


basically, she never reject me when i needed her help!!



so now u know why mummy used to say dat she looks like my bf!haha



so 'bf' .. thanks for everything that u have done!! i really appeciate your help n care!
