DIY bracelet with gold chain and pearls

hello dearies! im back! if u had been following my facebook page, you would have know that i have been itching to do some handicraft stuff lately. if u havent follow me dere (angry face! ) den please remember to do so here alright? thankiu in advance :)


finally last weekend i finally had time to go search around places n got all the items needed! happy me :)

let me show u the 1st piece of bracelet that i have made yesterday nite..

TADAH!! nice anot?? xD its a simple classy gold chain and pearls.. 

so..many people would asked, y DIY when u can purchase it in accessories shop everywhere.. so many choices out dere!

well... 

1) i find accessories nowadays are overpriced! some cheapo looking material used and they charge you like rm30 n above?? 

2) DIY allows you to customised watever you want~~ and im all in for customization! hehe

3) ok.. some people may find this reason weird.. handicraft releases my stress and bring back my life! xD had been working 9-5 weekdays and it totally bores my brain.. i nid to add colours to the brain by doin more handicraft. since painting is nearly impossible, as its kinda troublesome to get all ur art stuff all the way frm home to dis new place.. haha

4) last reason bt is also one of the main reason behind all these.. i enjoy the process of doin it n seeing it composed into a beautiful piece than to actually wear it out myself! haha psst : i used to tink of opening a handicraft shop when i much younger (now dat im old, i kinda accept the fact that i dun tink much ppl wana buy from me.. LOL)

 (please ignore my swollen left eye.. it has been like dis since last Saturday.. n i had no clue what causes it.. i woke up n i tadah! i received the swollen eye T_T)

dunu y.. i tink my wrist kinda shrunk/ slim down overnite.. cz this picture was taken dis morning and it seems to be loose a bit compared to yesterday.. LOL 

its ok, i will go back n alter it a bit! :)

CNY 2013 nail art! xD

actually all these years, i had been doing nail arts for cousins and aunt for sny. but never took da effort to snap the masterpieces.. haha


so this year, i tot y not now! can share wif al of u mer..  so here we go!




design 1 :  brown leopard prints on nude base!

 this design definitely make you nails look more outstanding! it is easy to match watever clothes u plan to wear! hehe

design 2 : abstract nail art

this one gt more cny feel la.. cz gt red over dere! haha *typical chinese mindset* :p

design 3 : mix and match!

mix and match gives you more choices! haha dats wat i love most! n also make you more chio! dats y i painted it for my self! hahahaha

my right hand! could draw any design cz i cant draw wif the left hand..hehe

right hand :  blinged + lepard print! hehe

i have more.. bt i forgot to take pictures of it.. :( maybe next year? haha

so do u like these designs?  by the way, i used acryllic to make the painting instead of nail polish.. love acryllic cz they dry fast and last longer! hehe

oh! cousins were suggesting me to do free lance nail art job for cny next year! wat do u tink? am i up to the standard?LOL

how to : 5 simple steps to glittering gold gradient nail art

CNY is coming! but r u prepared for it? new clothes, new bag, new shoes... but how bout your nails? don't you wana make them pretty and flaunt it? xD

yes! i know u want them to be pretty too! but at this peak season, its kinda hard to make booking rite? cz everything seems to be full! and pricey too! >< 

like for instant my hairstylist.. called to make apointment they other day and he said the saloon is fully book for the time being and the next available date would be half a month later! like.. OMG! gt so kua zhang ma?? cut hair nia wor~ 

anyway, for your nails, worry not as i m here to share with you girls out dere on how to beautify your nails with only 5 simple steps! yes! 5 only~ 

here we go :

Step 1 : Paint a layer of base coat. 

 base coat is a very important step whenever you plan to apply any nonsense on your nails because they PROTECT your nails. trust me, a good base coat wil prevent they shitty chemical from killing your nails. you dun wana have yellow or stained nails upon removing the nail polish later on rite? :)

Step 2 : Paint the tip of your nail with bronze/ any light brown nail colour

For my case, i used Elianto Silky brown (07) to paint it.  apply 1 thin coat will do. this step is done to actually cover all the small spaces between the gold glitter later on.

Step 3 : Apply a  fine gold glitter on the second portion of your nail

i used Etude House Sequin Crystal Gold (04) from LUCIDarling range. apply just 1 layer of colour below the brown colour i have applied just now. do not worry yet if the colour do not blend in 

Step 4 : Apply a layer of bigger gold glitter on top of the bronze/ light colour applied in step 2

i used Etude House Spangle Dazzling Gold (09) from LUCIDarling range. apply the whole tip of the nail covering most of the brown colour applied ealier.

Step 5 : Apply top coat on the whole nail

last but not least, apply the top coat on the whole nail. top coat is very important for this nail art because :

a. it dissolves the top layer of the previous painted nail colour and helps to blend in all the colour creating a smooth gradient toning

b. protects the colours and glitters form fading 

c. adds shine to the whole nail art 

so there you go! 5 simple steps and tadah! pretty glittering gold gradient nail art ready to be flaunt during CNY! :)

u can also mix and match with other colour of your choice too! try it and let me know hows your result alright? xD

how to : keep your leafy vegetable fresh for 1 whole week in the fridge

so i bet many of you (if u r a kitchen person) would have face this problem whereby ur vege in da fridge wilt like there's no tomorrow way before you could even manage to eat it.. rite??

same goes here.. ><

in uni, v usually only do marketing once a week (saturday). so we had no choice but to stock up our food supply for the whole on dat day. however, we often face this problem where by by wednesday, our vege in da fridge already turned in zombie!!!

and we ended throwing almost half of da vege we bought EVERY WEEK!! wat a waste rite??? O.O

BUT! worry no more! as im here today to share some tips with you on how to keep them fresh even after 1 week living in da fridge! hehe

see! you know wats is dis anot??

yes, correct! is da bag used to keep your cereals (eg. koko krunch) when u bought it! 

so..wat does dat have to do with keeping my vege fresh you would say... dun tell me you wana me to put my vege with the koko krunch meh?? @@

yes! correct! put your vege dere! bt not with your koko krunch pls... ==

so..everytime u finish eating your cereal, dont throw the bag away!!! they are precious~~ xD

just dump your vege in the bag den mayb get a rubber band to tie the other end.

ya! dats it! just dat simple~ and by doing so your vege will have a longer life! 

lettuce after 1 week! believe me anot? xD

photography level 0.1 (part 1)

hi everyone! am back for a 1 week break..

 but i wouldnt have called it a break either..cz lots of assignment to do n also nid to prepare for so many tests after holiday! so shitty! totally kill my mood a~~~ argh!!


ok.lets forgot bout the shit for a moment n talk bout fun stuff shall we?

had been attending photography class since this semester. its actually for koku..whereby in order to graduate, each students are supposed to up some activity for 2 sems out of the 4 yr course.. if not mistaken there were over 100 activity to choose from..

i, for sure choose photography! xD no money buy DSLR , at least join this class d cn play wif da camera mer.. da camera provided are Nikon D3200 if not mistaken.. very basic one with no extra lens at all.. ==

so last 2 weeks, our lecturer assigned us to 3ppl in a group to share a camera. n we were suppose to snap some potrait photo..

so ..dis is wat i shot! (more like playing around then completing our task) xP

introducing..both my models! LOL

see! happily enjoying themselves while i shoot!haha

LOL! i like this picture da most! i asked him to give me da yay-i-just-won-a-volkswagen look..n he did it! really looked he won the car!hahahahahahahah

chinese seaweed soup

since moving out from hostel few months ago, i had been cooking for the house for dinner almost daily..

we were so lazy to move our ass out from the house just to go out n eat.. so might as well just cook something simple rite? can save money sumore! xD


 oh gosh! at first you were definitely excited! even cal back home to ask mum wats da recipe to cook dis n dat n so on..

 bt as days passes n u had to cook almost everyday (every other day my roommate wil help me cook la..) u become bit pro-er d.. so nonid ask mum liao..just cook ne! haha  but at the same time i finally understand y my mum always complain wat to buy in market! n forever asking me wat u wana eat tomolo! cz basically u get bored wif all the vege in the market n practically cn even memorize its location in da market! LOL

yes.. im an part time aunty who goes to market every weekend to stock up food supply now! T_T


but no! i dun wana be a regular aunty! be aunty also wana b special~ i wana b at least a blogger aunty! hmph!

so it sudd struck my mind dat mayb i can share with you peeps wat i usually cook n mayb da recipe as well? wan anot?? hehe



so here u go..



 CHINESE SEAWEED SOUP     ^^v

i noe there were 2 other dishes but lets just ignore them n concentrate on our soup alright?


ingredient :
1. chinese seaweed (soaked in water few hours b4 cooking)
2. chicken meat
3. fresh tofu
4. fish balls
5. egg
6. salt to taste


method :
1. slice the chicken meat (make sure u removed all the fats if you do not want your soup to turn out oily)
2. boil the water
3. throw the chicken in once the water boil. (ya..just dump it in, alright?)
4. when you see the chicken is almost cooked, throw the rest of the ingredient (except the egg) in.
5. close your wok n let your ingredient dance around in the hot pot (20minutes)
6. once everything is cooked, crack the egg in and add salt to taste.
7. your soup is READY TO BE SERVED! XD

i miss pastel colours... so decided to put my 'abandone for 2 months' light blue colour on!!hehe

to tell you honestly, i have never try putting on plain pastel colours on my nails just lidat before... cz i find it scary... i dun have fair hands like others..so if i have those solid colours on my nails without any pattern...it will make me look so scary..plus auntie-ish...

so sad rite?

my masterpiece

recently, i had painted a large canvas! :)

media? i chose acrylic this time..hehe i had alwayz wanted to paint this piece of art since before STPM.. i cant explain the feeling..its just 'the' thing that i need to do after my exam.. my friends called it the 'click'!! haha u noe what i meant rite? oh..nvm... move on...


so i started painting this masterpiece somewhere in the end of feb this year.. i guess? haha.. cant even remember the exact date... as usual..im lazy and often got distracted that i only allocate tiney winey bit of time to paint it..haha

em..my definition of tiney winey is once a week.. u must be thinking..not bad.at least once a week and i spend the whole day painting it, rite? omg..you are so wrong!!

i only spent 2-3 hours dat particular day to paint it!wth..im such a procrastinator rite? oh well.. i do admit tho..


finally after few months.. i finally managed to finish my masterpiece!!





em..i actually finished painting this piece in the month of may :)


and of course i just have to take picture with it 'kao kao' before i sent it to the framing shop. its a MUST ya noe?

the timing for this whole process was so cun that my mum suggested to hang the painting up on wesak day, which was two days after the painting was framed.. so ngam o...


on wesak eve.. took the painting to the temple for the monks to bless. he sprinkle some holy water on the glass :)


when i reached home.. called the electrician to drill holes on the wall for us :)



finally after all the hard work... my masterpiece is up on the wall !! yay! *jump up high*
