Mark Maki was appointed as Trans Mountain’s Chief Executive Officer in September 2024. Before that, he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, a role he assumed upon joining the company in 2020.
Prior to joining Trans Mountain, Mark spent nearly 34 years at Enbridge, where he held several executive roles in both Canada and the US, including President of Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. in Houston, Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President of Finance, and Senior Vice President of Corporate Planning and Sponsored Vehicles.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Superior and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Michael Davies is responsible for leading Canada’s only pipeline system transporting crude oil and refined products to the West Coast. He works closely with the maritime, coastal and Indigenous communities to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of petroleum continues beyond the Trans Mountain pipeline system.
Michael has more than 30 years of experience with Trans Mountain and its predecessor companies, developing and operating energy infrastructure in western Canada.
He is Chairman of the Board of the Western Canada Marine Response Corporation (WCMRC), the Transport Canada-certified marine spill response organization for Canada’s West Coast, a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and on the executive committee of the Business Council of British Columbia.
Michael is a professional engineer and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

As Chief Administrative Officer, Jennifer Pierce provides strategic oversight for Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, Government & Indigenous Relations, and Real Estate. She is responsible for the development and implementation of effective strategies that support the company’s culture and overall business priorities.
Jennifer has almost 30 years of experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining Trans Mountain, she was President of Mexico Gas Pipelines and Senior Vice President, Human Resources at TC Energy. She also held senior executive positions at TransAlta Corporation in Business Development, Energy Trading & Marketing, Commercial Management and Investor Relations & Communications.
Jennifer holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Arts, Government/Political Management and a Bachelor of Science, Communications. She was a co-founder of the Calgary Influential Women in Business Awards and is a current member of the Advisory Council for Board Ready Women.

As Chief Financial Officer, Todd Stack is responsible for providing leadership and direction over Trans Mountain’s financial affairs. In addition to his role as CFO, Todd’s portfolio also includes accounting and audit, treasury, corporate finance, tax, internal audit, enterprise risk, and financial planning.
Todd has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector and prior to joining Trans Mountain Todd held several executive roles at TransAlta Corporation including President of TransAlta Renewables, EVP Finance and CFO, Corporate Controller and Corporate Treasurer.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Calgary. He is a registered professional engineer in Alberta and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Corey Goulet

As Chief Regulatory Officer, Corey Goulet is responsible for leading the Regulatory function and the Tolling Execution organization, managing critical rate case efforts.
Previously, Corey has held several executive leadership roles at Kiewit Corporation, Steelhead LNG, Kingston Midstream and TC Energy. He has worked in commercial, business development, technical, project management and operation departments in many different sectors of the energy industry, including oil and gas production; oil, gas and refined products pipelines; and thermal, nuclear, wind, solar and hydro power generation.
Corey has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an Executive Management Certificate from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He has served on independent Board of Directors, Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) and subcommittees for CSA Z662.

Vice President, Legal and General Counsel
As Vice President, Legal and General Counsel, Kevin Thrasher is responsible for legal services for Trans Mountain and the Trans Mountain Expansion Project.
Since joining Trans Mountain, Kevin has provided expert advice on regulatory strategies and risk management to all levels of the organization. He has successfully overseen and managed the significant legal challenges faced by the Expansion Project, including playing a leading role in resolving important concerns raised by Indigenous communities.
Kevin brings extensive legal experience to Trans Mountain, with more than 20 years of litigation and regulatory matters specific to the oil and gas industry. Notably, during his career at TC Energy, he managed commercial, regulatory and legal portfolios on numerous large-scale projects.
Kevin holds Bachelor of Laws from Queen’s University and a Master of Arts from Carleton University. He has been called to the bar in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario.
