Trans Mountain operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast of Canada. We have more than 70 years of experience operating a safe and reliable pipeline system.

The Expanded System began commercial operations on May 1, 2024 increasing capacity to 890,000 barrels per day and providing direct access for Canadian crude oil to international markets. To improve efficiency and increase throughput, in line with our ongoing commitment to strengthening Canada’s energy infrastructure and competitiveness, we are evaluating opportunities to optimize the existing pipeline system.
