By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. About DeeperBlue
DeeperBlue is a global online media and community platform focused on scuba diving, freediving, the underwater world, and ocean advocacy.
The Service includes, without limitation:
- https://www.deeperblue.com
- https://forums.deeperblue.com
- podcasts, newsletters, and social channels
- mobile applications
- community features including forums, comments, and user profiles
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly target the Service at children under 13.
Users are expected to behave responsibly and refrain from posting content unsuitable for minors, particularly in areas of the Service where younger users may reasonably be present.

These Terms apply on a browsewrap and clickwrap basis.

- forum subscriptions or memberships
- paid digital services or access
- voluntary donations
It does not apply to purchases made via deeperblue.store, which are governed by separate third-party terms.
6.2 Subscriptions
Where paid subscriptions are offered:
- pricing, billing cycle, and renewal terms will be clearly disclosed before purchase
- subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled
- you may cancel at any time via your account or the method provided
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
6.3 Donations
Donations and voluntary payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
6.4 Consumer Rights
Your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, apply to paid digital services and content. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
7. User-Generated Content (UGC)
7.1 Licence Grant
When you submit, upload, or post content on the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, transferable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, display, and adapt that content in connection with the Service and our business.
This licence continues even if you delete your content or close your account, to the extent the content has already been shared, indexed, or incorporated into the Service.
7.2 Your Responsibilities
You confirm that:
- you own or control all necessary rights to your content
- your content does not infringe copyright, privacy, or other legal rights
- your content complies with applicable laws
You are solely responsible for the content you submit.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Forum Rules, these Terms prevail.

All original content on the Service is owned by or licensed to DeeperBlue Global Media Limited and is protected under UK copyright law, including the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit our content without permission, except as permitted by law.
11.2 Copyright Infringement and Takedown
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact via our Contact Us form with:
- identification of the copyrighted work
- the location of the allegedly infringing content

11.3 Repeat Infringers
Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright may be suspended or terminated.

- we are not liable for user-generated content
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence
- fraud
- any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law

16. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
