- Months of planning culminated in the arrival of three more UK F-35B Lightning fighter jets, which landed at @RAF_Marham today. Procured and supported by DE&S, the F-35B is one of the most technologically advanced fighter jets ever built. Did you see them flying over Norfolk?
- Today three F-35 Lightnings departed RAF Marham to return to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort in the USA. This is in preparation for their upcoming operational testing on board the aircraft carrier @HMSQNLZ in the waters off the East Coast of America.
- F-35s from @OC617Sqn departed today to take part in Exercise RED FLAG @NellisAFB @StnCdrRAFMarham said " This is another first for the Lightning Force and will give our pilots the opportunity to really put the F-35s to the test in a combat representative environment."
- F-35B jets from @OC617Sqn departed @RAF_Marham earlier today to meet up with @HMSQNLZ for the next stage of #CarrierSeaTraining. This is an opportunity for the Sqn to understand how to function on a ship, day & night, to operate and deliver capability in a maritime environment.
