More Sneaks from Technique Tuesday!

Day TWO of Technique Tuesday’s March Release Countdown! Let’s see if I can get your goat… 🙂

Today, I am sharing a fun new set called Gertie and Garth Goat! I so ❤ that name Gertie! 🙂 There are coordinating dies available for them HERE too! (These links will work when the products are available tomorrow, March 1st!)

I didn’t have the coordinating die when I made this card, so please overlook the fussy cutting. 😉 I think this is such a fun card to give to a family welcoming a new little one! 🙂I blended on Distress Oxide inks and added a few splatters afterward. I then stitched the whole panel on and added my watercolored Gertie Goat. 🙂

Technique Tuesday March Sneaks!

Hello and welcome to my first sneak of Technique Tuesday’s March Release! Can I call it a sneak if I share the whole card? Well, I am. 🙂 Haaaa!

This new TT release has a little bit for everyone! Lots of love sharing today, but there is more, I promise! 😉

Oh goodness! How fun is this heart puzzle? This die is called: Pieces of My Heart and the stamp set I used is called Love You to Pieces. (These links will work once the products go live on March 1st, Release Day!)

I blended some Distress Oxide ink on cardstock and then die cut the heart three times over. I think they turned out great and I already gave this one to my Grandmother. 🙂

Next up, I used the new Love Puzzle die! And again, the new stamp set, Love You to Pieces.

I kept this one pretty simple. I used score lines on the base panel to add a little texture. I think it would be fun to just use the letters on their own too! I’ll have to try that next. 🙂

Happy Happy Happy!

Well, here we are. Sunday. I have a love/hate with Sunday. 🙂

I’m popping in with another card I made for Technique Tuesday this past month. I love me some Happy! This set is the Happy Happy Happy set! What a great name huh? And there is a coordinating die HERE. I used the little banner from it. 🙂

I love the font of this happy, so I just used it over and over! Nothing says happy like a rainbow!

School Love

Happy Fri-YAY right? I’m not sure how I feel about that term, but I was writing Friday and Hooray, so went for it! 😉

For these cutie Paper Smooches cards today, I used the following Paper Smooches: Smarty Pants and Dies, Notebook Basic Die, and Cuteasauras.

I colored all these with Copic Markers and added them to the Notebook die.

Eeeep so cute! I love when something simple turns out so awesomely sweet! 🙂

This last one lost it’s crayon. I’m not sure if I didn’t color enough or if someone small who lives here nabbed it before I put it on a card! Haaa! 🙂

I just love that little inch worm! And the pencil, of course! Easily some of my favorite Paper Smooches stamps–but I bet I say often, don’t I? Just ❤ PS! 🙂

I cannot wait to give these to my son and his teacher. 🙂

You are Crafty and Kind!

Hello! I’m popping in tonight to share a card I finally made! I tinkered around with these die cuts for quite some time, and then this happened. Ha!

If you look at it, you can see it is wonky right? I’m thinking I should have left two more “triangles” out to make it less awkward overall. Arranging them this way doesn’t quite make a complete “star”. There isn’t quite enough room. 😉 But it is what it is and nothing is coming off now, since it’s all stitched down! 🙂

I looooove this Essentials by Ellen Silver Linings die and I was hoping to do something more with it too. But wow, has time been elusive! I usually craft in late evenings after all of everything, but lately I’ve had so many other things. It’ll pass hopefully! I need that time back to make stuff and exercise that part of my brain. I always feel better. 🙂

I super enjoy this fun sentiment from this Essential by Ellen set: Crafty Ladies Say.

I wanted to participate in the latest Ellen Hutson’s Pin-sights Challenge! I so dig this color inspiration and yet, I feel that I didn’t quite capture it fully. Things went a different direction that I initially planned! Doesn’t that happen often or what?! Haaaaa!

Hope you are ready to jump-start your weekend?! I’m always glad for the reprieve of packing lunch! How funny is that? 🙂

For my card today, I used the following Paper Smooches products: Smoocheroos, Postage Stamp Dies, Inchies Dies. I really wanted to try to use the smallest stamps in the Smoocheroos set and see if I could make a card work. I like it!! 🙂 Such fun to use the “less obvious” stamps in a set.

I like how those little guys ended up being the focal point. 🙂

They are super cute, right? Awwww! I used Hero Arts Ombre Pad for the background sentiment. Worked out well–less guess-work! Hooray! 🙂

We have another busy weekend ahead, but in a few weekends , I see a little space on the calendar…. shhhhhhh! 🙂 We’ll need it!

Souper Soon!

We have a pretty good stack of snow here and it is currently snowing! I don’t mind if we have nowhere to go.. However, today we are heading out during a lull, I think? Ha! We’ll see! 🙂

Anywho, I thought I share a card I colored with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge yesterday! Day 26 already! Wow!

These little cuties are from Taylored Expressions called Souper Soon….and they make me smile! Hopefully this will cheer up someone who may need it! 🙂

I think they are adorable, and of course, I had to add a couple of googley eyes. I created the background masking and using Distress Oxide Inks (Salted Ocean and Lucky Clover) and a black pen. I thought it turned out fun! 🙂

I used both 80lb and 110lb Neenah white cardstock and stitched it all together. 🙂

A Happy Hello

We meet again! Every Friday! 🙂

Today I’m sharing another little cutie from Paper Smooches! For this card, I used the following Paper Smooches products: In Stitches, Fun and Flirty, and Falling for You stamps (and dies).

Eeeeeep! I SO ❤ this little monster!! 🙂 And I ❤ how these heart stamps work together! I actually made an error lining these up, but I made it very less obvious by placing my sentiment and monster where I did. Wink wink! I didn’t realize it until I had done all my stamping and I about screamed. LOL! But then I just smoooooothed it over. Usually you can salvage your errors. Usually. Unless you drop an ink pad on your project…then, mmmmm not so much.

Clucking!

I’m interrupting your Super Bowl experience this evening to bring some crafty fun 🙂 !

It’s February! And that means there are new stamps aboard from Technique Tuesday! I love a good play on words, and naturally, this month does NOT disappoint! 🙂

For these cards, I used Technique Tuesday’s newly released, Chicken Family Stamp set (and Chicken Family dies) the previously released, Funny Farm stamp set and coordinating dies.

Oh my word! This is the perfect card to send from our house! LOL! 🙂

I colored this scene with Copic Markers. I mean, chickens are blue, right? 😉

This next card uses the SUPER FUN new set, Cheeky Chicken. These sentiments are so stinkin’ funny to me! 🙂 They also have coordinating dies HERE. Just crack me UP!

I actually gave this to my hubby for his birthday. Because he really wants chickens. Bwaahahha!

For this card above, I used my Zig Clean Color Markers for a little loosey “goosey” watercolor action.

Hi There!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! It is snowing here, and this is the perfect card for today!

I colored these cuties for #thedailymarker30day today, and actually put them on a card right away. Hooray! I actually colored them in the wee hours of the morning because I couldn’t sleep. I believe that was due to possibly dozing off (albeit VERY briefly) earlier in the day? LOL! I blame my son. 🙂 He wears me out! ❤

These cuties are from Lawn Fawn’s Snow Cool and Chit Chat. I have the dies for the Snow Cool set, but the Chit Chat, I just fussy cut. I think Chit Chat was one of my first LF sets? 🙂 Oh and the heart is from Lawn Fawn’s Hearts die.

I used Lawn Fawn Jet Black (Copic friendly) Ink, Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, Copic Markers, and Worn Lipstick Oxide ink.

This is also perfect for joining the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Inspiration Board. It’s so wintery and love filled, I thought this would be spot on. 🙂
