People have skills!

I am also super excited when my friend Miriam Prantner has something new out! I love the way Miriam’s design mind works and I know there is always something (or everything, truthfully) that I am going to enjoy. Both of these are available at Simon Says Stamp HERE.

Today, I am here to share a couple of Miriam’s new designs: Printmaking Plants and Radiating Squares Stencils.

First up, is the Radiating Squares Stencils . I paired this with Lawn Fawn’s Giant Thank You die.

Image

I wanted to keep these pretty simple, but I changed up the last couple colors on them. You can see how making that slight change creates a subtly different look! So simple! 🙂

Image Image Image

I also used the SSS Basic Rectangles to cut these panels to size. Quick and easy!

Image

Next up, PRINTMAKING! This is MP’s new Printmaking Plants . Printmaking sets are one of my most favorite things that Miriam thinks up. I just love to stamp vs. color sometimes and this is so satisfying. It is also impossible to create just one card when you sit down with a printmaking set.

The sentiments Miriam chose are lovely too. Always unique. ❤

STAMPtember: Simon Says Stamp Blog Party

Today is the kick off of Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember!!!  Always a BIG deal to celebrate in September! You can shop the entire STAMPtember Release HERE. There is a Blog party today and you can start over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog for all the links. But I’m here to celebrate–let’s get the party started!

This one is extra fun because my friend, Miriam Prantner has some great new sets released from Simon Says Stamp! So happy for Miriam and super excited to see her designs releasing out in the world once more–I’ve always been a big fan of all things MP! 🙂

Let’s get started with one of my favorite new sets Miriam designed: Printmaking Florals. This set is a top fave, for sure! ❤ I love printmaking!!

Image

I couldn’t stop stamping these, so I just went ahead and made “a few”. These would make an awesome gift set and I plan to make more and gift them. The combos of colors are infinite!

Image

Love these printmaking designs Miriam whips up! I have another stamp I hope to make some cards with soon, so I’ll be back to share that one too! 🙂 It is called Floral Background. Miriam created another printmaking set called Printmaking Houses and I’d love to use that set someday too! They’d also be perfect for making a sweet gift card set.

Image

Sometimes it is just fun to stamp stamp stamp isn’t it? No coloring or die cutting, just stamping.

Image

I love these! And I used all the sentiments in the set for these cards. I 🤍 the font Miriam chose for these. 🙂

Image

Next up, I used Miriam’s new Drink Coffee sentiment set. I paired this with the new 3D Embossing Folder called Crystal Distortion. This Crystal Distortion embossing folder is super cool and could not be easier to create this background with so much interest. Cardstock, Embossing Folder–run through and boom! Done! Honestly, it would be a breeze to make a fun stack of coffee cards to mail out with this combo. I enjoy making cards in bulk and also sending cards in bulk. 🙂

Image

I do believe that a World Without Coffee is a World in Chaos! haaaaa! 😂☕☕

Image

Lastly for today, I used this fun background stamp called Coffee Drinks. There is also a stencil that would be awesome to create a sweet blend. It is the Coffee Drinks Stencil . I also used another sentiment from the Drink Coffee sentiment set.

Image

I finished this one off using SSS Basic Rectangles. This whole color combo is definitely a new dive for me, but I thought it turned out fun for this coffee theme.

Let’s Connect from Simon Says Stamp!

I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Let’s Connect release!! Hooray for mailing cards and staying connected! 🙂

I am using the fabulous NEW SSS Stamp: Drawn Daises and you can find it HERE. The sentiment I used is from the previously released Just Because Word Mix 2. 🙂 I cut it all out with the SSS Basic Rectangles.ImageThis stamp is quite pretty! I’m not entirely sure I did it justice, but it was fun to create. 🙂 I stamped and white heat embossed this on some watercolor paper before painting it with my watercolors. I think this card could definitely be better with some more practice. Watercolor is tricky for me to use on images because I want to control it too much. 🙂 ha!

Image

I wanted to make the Daisies pop, so I did a dark background. I am looking forward to sending this one out into the world! 🙂

Here are the Simon Says Stamp products I used:

Send Happiness from Simon Says Stamp!

Today I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Send Happiness release!! Wait til you see this stamp I used below–whoah! 🙂

I am using the NEW SSS Stamp: Poppies Background and you can find it HERE. The sentiment I used is from SSS Love Messages. ❤ I cut the whole thing out with the SSS Basic Rectangles too. )

Image

This Poppies Background stamp is a lovely one and large to cover your whole card front, if you so choose. I decided to white heat emboss it and then blend on some Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide Ink (with a dab of Hickory Smoke). Then I splattered it with paint, added some stitching the sentiment and done. 🙂

Sunny Days Ahead!

Today I am joining the fun over at Simon Says Stamp for the new Sunny Days Ahead release!! It’s a release to celebrate all the season is bringing!

I am using the NEW SSS Stencil called Grad Caps Stencil and you can find it HERE. I also used SSS Basic Rectangles dies–which really are a staple on my desk. 🙂

Image

I used Nuvo Glitter Paste (find it HERE) for the sparkle on the stencil after I blended on some light blue ink. It sparkles in such a fun way in person, but photos never quite capture it! 🙂

Image

I also used Concord & 9th’s Simple Serif Alpha Dies and Paper Smooches New Beginnings 2 (for the small sentiment).

I think this turned out fun and a little different than a typical grad card. I am looking forward to popping in the mail next month. 🙂
