Next up, I used the Layered Valentine Cake Pops stencil  and the Double Heart Shaker Dies. I cannot look at this card without wanting a chocolate covered strawberry! I love the Strawberry Valentine Clay Confetti!

This next card features the Valentine Ghost Friends Set–and it’s oh so cute!! Along with the XOXO Pierced Plate Die and the Love Word Shaker Dies.

Taylored Expressions… Fall Release!

Taylored Expressions release today is alllll about FALL!! It’s my favorite season!! I want to make all the Fall cards and I hope I get some crafty time to do that very soon! For now, let’s take a look at what I did get to make! 🙂

First up, Fall Y’all Dress Up! Eeeeep the gnomes are ready for Fall! These hats are tooooo cute! There is also a sweater I didn’t use and wish I had. I think I got distracted. 🙂

Image

I decided to make these into Gift Card holders using the Pretty Package die. I also used the Playful Plaid Background and the Diagonal Diamond Background.

Image

The sentiments are from Handlettered Thanksgiving and Coffee Create Repeat (+Coordinating Dies).

Image

I thought this cutie wanted some hot cocoa! 🙂 The acorn hat is too cute and these mushrooms! Gah! 🙂

Image

I don’t think I have ever used so much Mulled Wine. 🙂
Image

Gah–love them!

Image

Next up, we have the I’m a Hugger – Fox. I want to use these super cute foxes on a few cards too! But for these, I used them along with the Foil It-Fall Tablescape. I foiled those in Plum, Teal and Peach Princess.

Image

They are too cute peeking over the top of the cards, right? 🧡
Image

See you Later, Alligator!

Hope you had a great weekend! Ours was great here, but of course, too fast as always. 😉

I thought I’d pop in and share these cute little Neat & Tangled critters I colored with Copic Markers. The best part is, they made it onto CARDS already!! 🙂

Image

This card is made with Neat & Tangled’s new Later Alligator and coordinating Dies. I also used N&T’s previously released Polygon Stencil with some Distress Oxide inks. 🙂 I cannot handle the cuteness of that tiny little frog! My son is going to love getting this one! 🙂Image

Next up, I used the cute little fox, So Foxy! Coordinating dies HERE.Image

I colored him gray with Copics and added him on top of some Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Paper Pad paper. Gah, cutest little fox! ❤Image

I also used Neenah white cardstock, as always, for both! 🙂

If you haven’t seen it, Neat & Tangled is hosting another Throwdown: Crafting with Compassion.

Image

There could not be a better idea in my mind, so I wanted to join in on it. I also thought it completely worthy to purchase this Celebrate You stamp set, as all the proceeds are “being donated to the Burning Limb Foundation to help patients at the Neurologic Relief Center receive care for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).” You can find all the info HERE.

A charity that matters to me is the American Cancer Society. Not only is it a cause close to my family’s heart, but is is a cause that my friend and her family help to raise money for every year. My friend and her family have run the Chicago Marathon seven years over, to raise money for the ACS in memory of her brother. This year, my friend is running the New York City Marathon for the American Cancer Society DetermiNATION Team. In the past, I have sold my cards to help raise just a little more money for her. 🙂 She is a rockstar in my book! ❤

Help spread the word for a worthy cause close to you! Join in HERE. ❤

Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead! 🙂

Take care- Jill 🙂

Warmest Wishes!

Hope you are enjoying a great weekend!

I wanted to share these two cards I made using these cute foxes I colored with Copic Markers for The Daily Marker’s 30 Day Challenge.

I could not enjoy these little Neat and Tangled Merry Kisses (and dies HERE) foxes more! I have been trying to get my crafty little hands on these cuties for months!  LOL!

Image

Eeeeep! Adorbs! I just added this photo frame die to an embossed/scored Neenah white panel. I stitched the whole thing down to the card base and done! 🙂Image

For the next card, I used my red/brown foxes and created a Valentine! ❤

Image

For this card, I used Neat & Tangled’s Geometric Blooms Stencil. Fabulous! I brushed on some Worn Lipstick Oxide and Wilted Violet Oxide ink. Again with the PURPLE! What is going on? Haaaaa! I also used the sentiment from Be My Valentine! ❤ !!Image

To finish off this card, I added some super fun Neat & Tangled sequins (Thank you again, N&T!) and then some stitching. (These confetti-like sequins are my fave!)

I think that about does it! Hope you have some time to get crafty this month too! 🙂

Take care- Jill 🙂

The Cutest Video Hop Ever!

logo_finalHappy ❤ Day, and welcome to The Cutest Video Hop Ever!  My son and I are VERY excited and grateful to be joining Emily Leiphart for this fun hop celebrating 5000 subscribers on her YouTube channel but, more importantly, inspiring the next generation of crafters!  We hope you have as much fun watching us craft with our kids, as much as we enjoyed creating these projects to share with you.  We are also proud to have two very inspiring young crafters joining us on their own YouTube channels.
Image

I prepped everything, and my son colored all the critters. Afterwards, he excitedly shouted, in a *chop chop* fastion, “Ok, let’s make the video!” I started to explain what the overall plan was, and he said he wanted to do it all on his own, HIS way. Perfect! (But I wasn’t sure what to expect! haaa!) He started, finished twenty minutes later (including our glue mishaps), and that was that! 🙂  Bam! 🙂

Please note: I have NEVER crafted a video before, so be warned. From the filming, to editing, it is all new to me. My son however, seems to be a natural at the instruction. Who knew?!

Here is our video ❤ :

hawkins_valentines_age6
I think these are so stinkin’ cute! Our family and his friends are going to love them! 🙂
hawkins_ps-valentines

He put pom poms on that little Paper Smooches sheep! So cute! 🙂

I laugh because he colored this one Technique Tuesday fox fairly traditionally, and the other is a party! Also, one gets all the Tootsie Rolls? LOL. Love it! 🙂hawkins_tt-valentines

Here are a few cards I colored using Elena’s new Just Me Digital Stamps–so stinkin’ cute!! 🙂
hawkins_jill-valentine
I colored all these with Copic Markers. The images are so sweet, and it is easy to download and print them yourself! Another first for me on this hop: Digital Stamps! And…now I want them all! LOL 🙂hawkins_jill-smore2
These frame dies and the heart dies my son used, are all from My Favorite Things. hawkins_jill-smore_01
Oooops, a little stitching blooper on this one above! shhhh! 🙂
hawkins_jill_love_wm
This Technique Tuesday card is made with the Long Love die. It is super delicate, so I recommend using one of the sticky papers so you can die cut all at once to adhere. The hearts are from the Heart Strings die. Awwwww love. 🙂
jill_i-love-you-die_01

And, last, but not least, is this valentine using Paper Smooches I Love You die and the For You tag die. This one is for my hubby, so I thought the gray was perfect to “man” it up a bit. This is a fun die for many occasions! 🙂

I want to give a HUGE HUGE thanks out to Emily, for first, being crazy enough to ask my son and me to join this hop. And secondly, for her encouragement to make this video and edit it. I can’t say whether or not I’ll ever craft another video, but I will say it was a very good thing to try. (I embedded this video link above and felt so accomplished! LOL!!). My son will likely request to make another 🙂 . I always enjoy a challenge…Even if I did miss a typo in the video. Bwaaahaaaa! I did that on “purpose”… wink wink! Thanks again, Emily! 🙂

Thanks for joining us today…be sure you hop on to Laura Bassen (& leave comments too for a chance at the fantastic prizes!). Laura’s videos are inspiring and I always find myself laughing out loud! Her daughter is sure to add even more fun! 🙂

Signing off!

Jill and my little buddy

hawkins_jill_hey-foxy_wmThis uses the new Fredrick and Fiona stamp set from Technique Tuesday. I stamped, colored with Copics, and then masked these cuties to blend on some Distress Ink. They make such a sweet little card. ❤hawkins_jill_hey-foxy_00_wmOf course, I had to balance the cute with some cool, right? Here they are in their sly fox glory! 🙂hawkins_jill_sly_wm hawkins_jill_sly_00_wmThese foxes, I masked again, and colored with my Zig pens. The sunglasses are from THIS Fresh Cut Studio Summer die set. Too fun! 🙂 Too sly. 😉
