08.11. - Friday at around 12 p.m. we finally arrived in Perth and expected the usual long procedure with Ingo being interviewed why he visits . Usually he looks like a criminal when we arrive in Perth but since he shaves the traditional way with soap he looks much nicer for a longer time :-)
A cute dog made sure we don´t a bring anything illegal and whoot, an hour too early we entered Perth.
And, by golly, there was a face I knew! Not the one I expected to find in a hour across Red Rooster (ewww, and there are so many Red Roosters and so few who Treat Chicken Right or now are The Chicken Lover´s Chicken, Chicken Treat!).
Pic actually to come later...
B works at the airport and so could check if we´re there.
We went to their home to say hi to H as well, got something refreshing to drink (much, much needed!!! Thanks again!), chatted – it´s just fantastic when in real life it „clicks“ just like in online life.
Pic also from later on...
They drove us to the Kingsway Caravan Park and the Cabin was booked, yay!
I only had an automatic reply and no answer to my e-mail asking to get the same cabin as last time.
Guess I went through as spam with my attached pic – and, wow, am I thankful for this!
We got the cabin opposite of our old one
Pic: Our old cabin.
and I couldn´t believe my eyes – it came with a toilet and even shower!!!!
Just 7 years later we get this upgrade for free!
No more public toilets and showers across the place but our own!!!
Thanks guys, again, you made it all so much easier for us and obviously you brought us luck, too!
And also a big thanks for borrowing us your smart-phone!!!
A bit groggy we went to the shopping center 10 minutes from here.
Awww, I so had to smile to hear the first Raven :-) They really sound different from ours, guess they speak Aussie-slang and love to chat ;-)
And, gahhhh, we said hello to the first Blowies as well.
And we got: Ripe avocadoes and: Coon – yum!!!!
Really, you´ll hear this more often, too: Germany doesn´t have anything like it!
"Australians don´t say cheese, they say COON."
I miss it already!

I cannot imagine Ingo not being clean shaven all the time! Nice to go through all the memories as you write these posts about your visit.
It's so great seeing Australia through your eyes - SO glad they let you through customs! But they'd have been mad if they didn't - your blog is a GREAT advertisement for Australia!!
Oh, thanks, Sami, I´ll pass the compliment on :-)
Red, yes, all quick and easy and on the way back in Germany we got Jerky in!!! Despite Australia never having had a case of BSE it´s actually not allowed...
Oh who wouldn´t want to go to Australia, you don´t need advertisement!
