Leadership team
Jeremy Steele | Chief Executive Officer
Jeremy brings over 25 years of global corporate experience across healthcare, technology, financial services, and retail.
As both an investor and operator, he has previously led global healthcare technology businesses at scale.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Adelaide and was appointed CEO and Managing Director of Control Bionics in early 2023.
Shannon Boothroyd | Chief Financial Officer
Shannon brings over 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and finance across the United States and Australia.
She joined Control Bionics in May 2024 following senior finance positions with multinational ASX-listed companies and technology start-ups, where she drove financial strategy and operational efficiency.
Shannon holds both Chartered Accountant (Australia) and Certified Public Accountant (US) designations, with expertise spanning financial leadership, audit management, and strategic financial planning.
James Schorey | Chief Technical Officer
James began his career at Therapeutic Technologies Inc. as a software engineer, rising over ten years to become Director of Engineering with responsibility for three FDA-registered Class II medical devices.
He subsequently served as President of Therapeutic Alliances, a rehabilitation technology company.
James joined Control Bionics in 2014 and serves as Chief Technology Officer, leading the design and development of the neural-signal platform and its product expressions.
Todd Tyler | President, North America
Todd serves as President, North America for Control Bionics, based in Milford, Ohio.
He holds a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Oklahoma and brings over 20 years of experience across healthcare, spanning speech-language pathology, sales, marketing, business development, and executive leadership.
Todd leads the North American commercial team, drawing on deep clinical and market expertise to drive platform adoption across the region.
Jeffrey Kitchen | Director of Product
Jeffrey brings over 15 years of experience in product management and technology, driving product strategy and scalable software platforms across SaaS and enterprise environments.
As Director of Product at Control Bionics, he leads product vision, roadmap strategy, and delivery, working closely with engineering and commercial teams to deliver market-driven solutions.
He has led platform modernisations, product launches, and system transformations, and holds an MBA.
Chris Feighner | Director of Operations
Chris brings over 25 years of experience across the global medical and automotive industries, with a strong focus on operations, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.
He has a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving efficiency in complex production environments while maintaining ISO and FDA standards.
Since joining Control Bionics in 2021, he has led operations from Milford, Ohio, focusing on scalability, process optimisation, and operational excellence across the business. Chris holds an MBA from Tiffin University.
Control Bionics is governed by an independent board of directors with expertise across medtech, clinical science, finance, and corporate governance.
The board provides strategic oversight and ensures the company meets its obligations as an ASX-listed entity.
