A feed group is a collection of multiple Basecamp iCal feeds that get unified into a single calendar output. Each group has its own unique feed URL that you can share separately.

You might create one group per client, one per department, or one per project type. Starter plan allows up to 10 groups, while Pro offers unlimited groups.

Each group has four toggle options in the header:

• Show Schedules — Include/exclude meetings and events
• Show Todos — Include/exclude task deadlines
• Show Cards — Include/exclude card table items with dates
• Use Emojis — Use emoji prefixes (☑️ 🎫 👥) instead of text labels

The colored dots indicate feed health:

• Green — Feed was successfully synced recently
• Red — The last sync failed (check your Basecamp URL)
• Gray — The feed hasn't been synced yet (add it to a calendar app to start syncing)

This timestamp shows when Google Calendar (or another client) last requested an update from Feedhammer.

Feedhammer does not continuously poll Basecamp. It fetches fresh data when your calendar app requests it. Times like "5M AGO" or "2H AGO" show how recently your calendar was updated.

Yes. Click the duplicate icon (two overlapping squares) on any group card to create an exact copy with all feeds and settings. The new group will be named "Original Name (COPY)" and will have a new unique feed URL.

Regenerating creates a new unique token for your group's feed URL, invalidating the old one. This is useful if you accidentally shared a feed URL with the wrong person.

After regenerating, you (and anyone subscribed) must remove the old calendar subscription from your calendar app and re-subscribe with the new URL.

Pro users can customize how their unified calendar feed appears in Google Calendar. Instead of showing "Feedhammer" as the calendar name, you can set it to your agency name or brand name.

This shows up as the calendar name in Google Calendar. Other calendar apps may handle it differently. Your clients see your brand name instead of "Feedhammer", which gives them a more professional experience.

Pro users can use the "Manage Groups" page to perform bulk actions:

• Search and sort all groups
• Select multiple groups at once
• Regenerate all selected feed URLs simultaneously
• Delete multiple groups at once

This is useful for managing large numbers of client feeds efficiently.

Pro users can invite up to 2 additional team members (3 seats total including the owner). Team members can:

• Create and manage feed groups and feeds
• View and modify all team-owned groups

Team members cannot access subscription settings or billing. Only the owner controls billing and membership.

Go to the Team Management page, enter your teammate's Google email address, and click "Invite." This generates a unique invitation link that expires in 7 days.

Your teammate must sign in with the exact Google account matching the invited email to accept. They cannot accept with a different email.

Pro users can export their entire Feedhammer setup from the "Manage Groups" page. The export downloads a JSON file containing every group, its feeds, filter settings, and detected project names.

Use this to create a snapshot of your configuration for backup, or to migrate your setup to another account.

From the "Manage Groups" page, click "Import Groups" and select a Feedhammer export file (JSON). You'll see a preview where you can choose which groups to import.

Importing always creates new groups with fresh feed URLs. It never overwrites existing ones. Imported groups are named with an "(Imported)" suffix so you can tell them apart.

During import, Feedhammer validates every feed URL live against Basecamp and skips any that are invalid or inaccessible.
