Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers about Digit-IT orders, embroidery files, wallet payments, and policies.

Services & General

Do you sew garments or only digitize embroidery files?

Digit-IT provides embroidery digitizing and vector conversion only. We deliver machine-ready stitch files (DST, PES, EMB, and more). We do not sew garments in-house. Place orders on digit-it.com or read how Digit-IT works.

What artwork quality should I send for digitizing?

Send the cleanest file you have — vector (AI, EPS, CDR) is best; otherwise a large PNG or JPG. Blurry photos slow turnaround and hurt small text. See preparing artwork for digitizing.

File Formats

What embroidery file formats do you deliver?

Common exports include DST, PES, JEF, EXP, EMB, VP3, HUS, and others on request. State your format in Special instructions. Guides: formats explained and which format to choose.

What vector or image files can I upload?

We accept AI, EPS, CDR, PDF, SVG, PNG, JPG, PSD, TIFF, and similar. Vector sources digitize cleaner than tiny rasters. Details: vector file formats.

Orders & Turnaround

How long does digitizing take?

Straightforward left-chest logos often return in about four business hours. Caps, jacket backs, 3D puff, and complex fills take longer. Full details: turnaround time explained. Need it faster? See rush orders.

How do I place an order in the customer panel?

Log in at digit-it.com, open a new order, upload art, set size and format, add special instructions, then submit. Step-by-step: how to place an order.

Where do I say which stitch format I need?

Use Special instructions on the quotation or order form (for example “PES for Brother” or “DST + EMB”). See which file format to choose.

Do you work on weekends and public holidays?

Production runs on business days. We are not available on weekends or public holidays — submit early if you need Monday sewing. Turnaround explained.

Payments

How do I pay for digitizing orders?

Pay with PayPal, card, or wallet balance in the customer panel. Overview: wallet and payments. Top up: add funds to wallet.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Card and PayPal run through secure payment processors. Digit-IT does not store full card numbers. Never email CVV or full card data — use the panel or contact us.

Why is my download locked after delivery?

Custom stitch files usually unlock after payment. Complete PayPal, card, or wallet checkout on the order, then download. Guide: downloading delivered files. Failed charge? payment issues.

Revisions & Policies

How do I request an edit after delivery?

Open the same order in the panel, request an edit, and attach a sew-out photo with specific notes. Process: edit after delivery. Know minor vs major changes before you ask.

Is my artwork copyright protected with Digit-IT?

You keep rights to artwork you legally control. We digitize for your production and do not resell your uploads as stock. See Copyright & Ownership and Privacy Policy.

Do you offer refunds on digitizing orders?

Digitizing is custom work. Refunds are considered when we miss the agreed scope. Change-of-mind after a completed file is usually not refunded. Full policy: refund and revision policy.

Shop & Bulk

Do you sell embroidered products or stock designs?

We digitize custom files; we do not sew garments. Ready-made downloadable designs are available on the Digit-IT shop. Custom jobs go through digit-it.com.

Do you offer discounts on bulk or reseller orders?

Yes — shops and resellers who place multiple jobs may qualify for bulk pricing. Ask when you order or contact Digit-IT. Workflow tips: reseller and bulk workflow.

Support

How can I reach Digit-IT support?

Phone +1-231-821-5515, email [email protected], or contact form. For order-specific edits, use the order thread in the customer panel first.

Technical

My sew-out looks wrong — is it the file or my machine?

Check backing, tension, needle, and hooping first. Caps and stretch fabric often cause registration issues that are not digitizing errors. Guide: common stitching issues. Cap tips: cap digitizing.

Can you digitize 3D puff embroidery?

Yes. Note “3D puff” in special instructions and which parts are raised vs flat. Details: 3D puff digitizing.

How do I match Digit-IT files to my embroidery machine?

Request the native format listed in your machine manual (PES for Brother, DST for many commercial heads, JEF for Janome, and so on). See machine compatibility.
