Severe thunderstorms are possible today, especially between 2 and 8 PM this afternoon and evening. Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and even a tornado are possible. Have a plan to receive warnings and take action immediately if warnings are issued.

A weak front dropping south this eve has turned the winds to the northwest pushing more Canadian wildfire smoke into the region. This is evident by a camp fire smell, lowering visibilities, & poor air quality which is expected through Friday. Alerts at: weather.gov/lwx.
