@severin I've done an #OpenBSD port or retex 1.2.0 :

To demonstrate what an #OpenBSD gaming system can do visually, here a high-quality recording of a few minutes in The Witcher 3 Remastered in 1440p at Ultra settings:
https://spectra.video/w/sGs3sjygpKt3AvxNzKFS3F
I have also uploaded the original, unaltered 1440p 60fps video at:

System specs:
- OpenBSD 8.0-current
- AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core Processor
- 16GB RAM
- AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPU
Pigs really can fly, the moon is made of cheese and Wine now runs on #OpenBSD!
Largely made possible by the work of Andrii (NethIafin), fabien@, and thfr@, 64-bit Windows applications (yes, games) run on -current!

Very welcome news I'm sure for any future aspiring Vtubers^W #PlayOnBSD streamers, OBS-Studio (32.1.2) is now in the #OpenBSD ports tree! 🐡
sthen@ modified ports/multimedia/obs-studio/*: import ports/multimedia/obs-studio, from Daniil Ryvkin, ok tb
OBS Studio is software designed for capturing, compositing, encoding, recording, and streaming video content, efficiently.
A massive thanks to submitter Daniil Ryvkin as well as other porters who all worked to get this in to -current.
🧰 The 'column' command is a great (and often overlooked) tool.
It creates structured output of data and turns it into columns, hence the name. It makes it easier to understand the data and its values. Great for CSV and data files.
💡 You already might have the command on your system, as it usually is installed on #Linux, #FreeBSD, #OpenBSD and others.
What other commands would you recommend for dealing with data?
If you like the effort I'm putting into these tips, please get them far 🔁 🚀
I've just recorded a stream on OpenBSD, of the thus far excellent third entry in the Blackwell series, The Blackwell Convergence. The visuals are significantly improved from the first 2 entries. More gameplay is likely to follow in the next weeks when I have time.
Indie Mystery-Detective hit "The Incident at Galley House" by the makers of The Roottrees Are Dead launches on OpenBSD thanks to the @godotengine binary. Let's explore the beginning of the game and see if OpenBSD can handle this gem of a 2026 indie game. Today at 22:00 UTC (in ~3 hours), only on @playonbsd:
I will continue my exploration of the Blackwell series of adventure games on OpenBSD via @scummvm tomorrow (Monday) at 23:00 UTC with Blackwell Unbound. Live on spectra.video:
