RAG status is the use of the colors of a traffic light to report business information. Red indicates an issue, yellow indicates a risk or mild issue and green indicates everything is fine. The following are illustrative examples.

Project Status

Reporting the status of project tasks, schedules, budgets and benefit realization.

Operational Status

Reporting the status of business capabilities and processes.

Services

Reporting quality of service of business and IT services. For example, a red service is down, yellow is slow or experiencing issues and green is operating at a high quality of service.
