On my way to Gisenyi for the Commonwealth Games King’s baton relay, stopped in Bigogwe 🇷🇼 to milk a cow- first time ever. Got more on my trousers than in the bucket! Learnt lots about the importance of the 🐄 in 🇷🇼 culture! #KBR2026InRwanda #GoFarGoTogether #Ngabo_Karegeya

Will I ever be able to walk again I wonder ?! Just completed the Umuyove Trail in Nyungwe Forest National Park, finishing it off by crossing the canopy bridge. Scenery was majestic: have never seen anything so beautiful. But had to have a lie down after the uphill climb! I❤️🇷🇼

We did it! Team British High Comission nailed the social ride @UCI_cycling. Uphill was tough but going downhill on car free roads was AMAZING! What a great atmosphere 🥳Brilliant to see so many people using peddle power. Well done @Kigali2025 ! 🚴🚴‍♀️ go get ‘em #TeamGB

In a weekend of firsts: my first umuganda this morning: planting trees in @RubavuDistrict to mark the kings baton relay and the commonwealth games. Tree planting 🌴slightly easier than milking cows ! 🐮🤠 #GoFarGoTogether #CommonwealthGames

I ❤️🇷🇼 at Christmas 🎄…. I got to see these amazing creatures close up (and another chameleon 😍). Never seen anything quite like it! The staff of @VolcanoesNP do an awesome job. And thanks #samborakinigi for fab hospitality. I’ll be back.

Happy New Year! Have had a great start to 2025 showing 11 members of my family the wonders of 🇷🇼. For most it was their first trip to 🌍. They all fell in love with the country, the people, the wildlife, the landscape and definitely the coffee ☕️

Saturday night does not normally find me on the track but delighted to have been able to join #walkwithwill this evening on at least a bit of his amazing marathon 24 hour walk to raise awareness and funds for better cancer care. Managed 7km : not too shabby… #RwCancerRelief

Yesterday, I arrived in London. My first time in the UK 🇬🇧 Everything felt like a movie. Maybe because I grew up watching way too many of them. British accents? They sound even more British in real life. Growing up in Rwanda, I always imagined London to be a place of red
