I turned 66 last week. 🎂 🤗 I celebrated with 2 hours of racquetball. In 1999 my Trig/HDL ratio was 23!! 😫I was overweight, low on energy, had joint pain & my doc urged me to go on a statin. Instead, I learned my trigs were >700 because of my high carb diet. I learned from

Every day for the past 26 years I'm grateful I didn't listen to my doctor who wanted me to take a statin for my high LDL. At 68 I can work with my personal trainer and box for an hour. I wonder if I'd have the strength to do so if I had taken that statin and suffered the muscle

22 years ago my doc insisted I was at high risk to have a heart attack & urged me to go on a statin. Instead of going to the pharmacy I went to the library. I learned about the meager benefits of statins & substantial harms. Glad I'm still around to share info on all I've learned
