    What was supposed to be a celebratory day has become a constitutional crisis. The Senate GOP is making an unconstitutional attempt to refuse the seating of my colleague, @SenatorBrewster. He was rightfully elected, his election was certified, and he is present to take his seat.

    The Sixers have spent years trying to convince us to put an arena on 10th and Market, even if it means the destruction of Chinatown. The Chinatown community has been on the front lines time and again. Our city needs to rise up and support them.

    Moms for Liberty is a hate group. @AmRevMuseum is hosting them next week for a welcome event. I'm proud to join @senjimmydillon, @SenatorHughes, @SenSharifStreet, @SenTartaglione, and @SenTonyWilliams in urging the Museum to cancel this event and stay true to its stated values.

    PA Republicans want a constitutional amendment to strip away abortion care. We must: ➡️Ensure a pro-abortion Governor and legislature. ➡️Expand abortion access in PA. ➡️Protect abortion providers from out-of-state prosecution. ➡️Defeat this proposed amendment. 🧵

    This morning, the PA House Judiciary Committee voted along party lines to impeach Philadelphia’s DA. This is a direct extension of nationwide efforts by MAGA Republicans to undermine voters, decimate our democracy, and steal power to advance a racist rightwing agenda.
