Karteria's rules operate on two principles: respecting other players and minding the integrity of the game.

1. Players must be 18+.


2. Be respectful of other players.


3. Communicate with fellow players and mods.
• Mods and players have lives. Similarly, we are all here to have a good time and explore our characters. Communication is key, as is boundary-setting!
4. IC =/= OOC.


5. Stay in character.


6. Don't godmod, powermod, infomod, or make critical plot information up. Please familiarize yourself with our parameters on powers/fourth-walling/mind-manipulating powers in our FAQ.


7. Use content warnings.
• The exception to this rule is when dealing with body horror things, since a lot of this setting will be body horror, and this game basically comes with a blanket CW: Body Horror warning. However, it never hurts to warn for things if it gets particularly gruesome, or deals with a common trigger. (I.E. eyes, teeth)
• This game may have explicit content. Please respect other players and warn for sexual content in threads or logs. Game events will not be locked; all Karteria-related accounts are marked as suitable for 18+ by default.
8. Be active and engage with the game's world.


9. The mods have all rights to reject or remove anyone from the game at their discretion. This would be exercised only in special instances brought to our attention.

Not following these rules may result in a PM from the mods or being kicked from the game.
